When I calmly educated the staff on service dog protections, rather than acknowledging the error and moving forward, the situation escalated in a way that felt punitive. Ashley converted my straightforward intake into an in-person interrogation-style interview. Taylor then withheld permission for Ashley to schedule my actual intake appointment, pushing my care back two full weeks. For someone seeking mental health support, two weeks is not a minor inconvenience. It can feel like an eternity. What troubles me most is the question this raises: if a facility cannot follow well-established federal disability law, one of the most basic legal protections afforded to people with disabilities, what confidence can patients have that other standards of care are being upheld? A mental health facility should be a place of safety, dignity, and compassion. What I experienced was the opposite. I cannot in good conscience recommend RedPoint to anyone seeking professional mental health care in Longmont.

Not only did the billing folks not answer their phones, they were also rude and believed their phone system to be infallible. I told my 18+ kid I would pay for ALL charges on their counseling then the billing office said the kid was trying to avoid the bill. Asked after every appointment, what do we owe? The response was insurance was covering it all. Kid completed counseling, got over the 'hump' and was feeling better. Months down the line hit a rough spot and wanted to go back. Left message after message trying to schedule an appointment with the trusted counselor, and after a few weeks, they finally got a bill out and accused us of avoiding payment! I told them I was happy to pay, but the billing people (seemed like an outside agency but actually managed /owned by Krupnik) accused us of avoiding payment. I tried to work out a reasonable solution with them and they were unbending. So, I paid them all that they wanted, which is what I offered in the first place. They blame their disorganization on patients, accused me of lying that I had tried to reach them to pay the bill, and withheld treatment for weeks while we tried to communicate with them, all over a couple hundred dollars we were willing to pay - the billing folks just had to BE RIGHT and would not admit to errors with their phone system. Great doctors fronted by bad business practices are useless. They need to do serious work on their "system" and customer service. The billing company, which is actually owned by them, is a front to create separation and deflect anger at the inept billing system away from the counseling practice.

He and his attorney requested Dr. Thomas. I read reviews that warned of a bias towards men even in cases of DV. My attorney said I shouldn't be too concerned about a couple bad reviews, and advised it was likely that it was a disgruntled person that lost her case. I am here to tell you, in spite of Dr. Thomas' evaluation, I did NOT lose my case. At this time the children and I are doing extremely well and they are thriving. Her report was biased towards the children's father. His empty promises and what is best 'in most cases' weighed more than the facts. My words were twisted and manipulated even to the point that in several instances his bad behavior was deferred onto me as if I was the one behaving poorly. Her report was also supposed to give a professional opinion regarding the relocation. It was completely inconclusive - it had provisions for both staying and relocating, but no opinion (which is what we paid for) as to which option was truly in the best interest of these children in this case. In the end - I spent several months and paid several thousand dollars for NOTHING. Her "services" were a waste of time and money, and the report is not worth the paper it was printed on!
