He was very helpful and walked me through everything I needed to do, and within 48 hours my mangled van was picked up from my stepson's grandmother's driveway - much to the relief of her HOA. Considering the state of my poor Caravan, (it now resembling a pug dog after colliding head on with a guard rail) I was quite happy to receive a payment for the van as well. It was more than enough compensation for a vehicle with very few usable front end parts. In all seriousness I had called two other places before trying City Auto Wreckers and they were not interested in helping my strange situation. By the time I spoke to Jim I was getting worried I was going to have to fly up and take care of this in person. I was so relieved to have found Jim and very thankful to him for his help.

First of all, this place is tucked down an alleyway, so if you use Waze or anything, it'll take you…read moreto a dead-end in a parallel neighborhood. It is weird, but that's just how it pulls up. You will be able to find it, just give them a call and they will direct you about 2 minutes nearby. I needed some exhaust work done in a pinch, called them, they said they could take me in, 20 minute later after getting lost and such, the car was up on the lift. The exhaust I purchased even though it was made for the car, had issues with fitment. The only resolution was to cut both flanges and weld the pipes together. Wasn't my favorite idea but I didn't want to ship the exhaust back and deal with a restock fee, etc. I would lose more money that way as it was and on top of it, wanted to hear out it sounded. I was quoted $80 for the labor and materials (despite how little material there was to get worked with..), and while it wasn't the best price in the world, the two workers I initially dealt with seemed to know their trade and I figured again, to save the hassle on shipping the exhaust back, restock fee, then wait for another exhaust... just wasn't worth it. So I accepted. They completed the work in under 20 minutes. It sounded great. Funny thing was, the owner came by in the middle of the fabrication work and was the one that finished welding the pipes together. When he was done, I was paying him the $80 dollars and he said,"okay man, let me get you change." (I think they are cash only) The owner was going to operate for me at a lower price. Imagine that. What a good guy - not sure if his employee was trying to rip me off or if the owner just wanted to cut me a deal, either way- I appreciated it from his end and told him that I was honest and that the other guy quoted me $80.00 so he could keep it, he thanked me and likewise, and about 45 minutes, I was already heading home. Overall, great guys, not sure about again the amount I paid, I will just chalk it up as "it could have been better, but definitely could have been worse." Would I come here again? Yes. They are a diamond in the rough.

Brought my Dodge Charger into this shop for some simple exhaust work. I asked for them to cut off…read moremy stock mufflers and put in an aftermarket muffler (dynomax race bullets) just for a change of pitch. The work was quick but super sloppy and I had an awful exhaust leak that led to further issues down the road. The ongoing leak caused my whole exhaust system to have further issues. The exhaust tip started literally melting into my rear diffuser as seen in the picture. My catalytic converters started failing and my engine began misfiring because of a poor welding job. If you care about your exhaust and want some good work done I'd highly recommend going to another shop.

Upon arrival I had zero problems starting the car and unloading it off the trailer and driving it to the back lot and let it idle for 5 minutes while I put all my straps away and went inside to give my info. 12/12/25 I go to pick up the vehicle with full intention of driving it home, I pay $700 cash (I supplied my parts) go out to the car and it's got no power (it's winter maybe batteries dead no big deal) they help me jump the battery's car starts and has a plethora of service lights( abs, service 4x4, parking break malfunction) accompanied by a rough idle. Already knowing I just got ripped off I asked one of the guys outside what all they touched and got " not my problem" in return followed with "we didn't do it" when I referred to the service lights. I went to leave and the vehicle stalled in their parking lot resulting in needing jumped again. I'm now stuck with a tow bill, the $700 I was charged for them to screw up car and a bill with a mechanic fixing their errors. Then I had to ask for a receipt as if it's not common business practice to give a customer a receipt when a bills paid. I brought you a car I was able to unload off a trailer and leave with a car on a flatbed tow truck because it can't even be driven up on a trailer. This is a joke of "service" you guys took $700 from me and left me with an inoperable vehicle. I will be perusing legal action if this issue is not addressed in a timely manor.
