(The Office reference anyone??) These are not cheap. Be grateful if you get away with paying anything under $1000 for repair. Mine costed $1700. AAA worked with McNiels auto care to ensure it was replaced and paid for. Your insurance normally covers this theft under comprehensive insurance FYI. Call your insurance and give them your mechanics info. As soon as they reviewed the damage, Andrew took pictures and sent me a link detailing exactly what the extent of the damage was. I was able to review the pics myself. AWESOME TOUCH! Never have I seen an auto mechanic use technology in this way to keep their customers updated. After this, Andrew called me to ensure I understood exactly what happened and what was needed in order to repair. It took them about a week total of ordering the part and installation. I also had them do other work on my car while they waited for the part. They did a great job. Andrew was very courteous and explained every step to get my car back up and running as usual. This is top priority to me when it comes to vehicle repair and maintenance. Called Hillside on a Friday morning and Harrison answers. Really nice and friendly. He said it's first come first serve basis so i brought my car in as early as possible. They didn't try to sell me on getting new tires or breaks or anything, although i know I'll need these in the next year. They fixed the tire and sent me on my way within 15 minutes of arriving. I paid......nothing! Harrison said it was a small job happy to help. Here's the thing - even though I wasn't charged, I'll definitely be referring people to them. I already referred a family member who said they'll be going to Hillside in the next month or so for some work. I'll be sure to keep referring.
