Sometimes we go through the motions of our day-to-day lives, not realizing how deeply our actions can impact someone else. I recently visited this AutoZone with my husband after our car broke down. Ron, who was working behind the counter, went above and beyond--he was patient, knowledgeable, and helped us figure out exactly what part we needed. We were able to fix our car right there in the parking lot with the parts we purchased. What Ron didn't know was that this small act of kindness came at a time when I needed it most. My father, who has brain cancer, used to be the one who helped me in situations like this. His absence in this moment was deeply felt--but Ron's patience and support filled that void in a way that truly touched my heart. I left the store in tears, not out of frustration, but out of gratitude. Ron reminded me that kindness still exists in everyday places. read more

Came here to get replacement windshield wipers for a car that we recently bought used. My husband looked up what wipers were needed in the magazine in the store, bought them, came outside to try to put them on...and it wouldn't work. A short Hispanic man who I believe was the Parts Manager (I forgot his name!!) came out and told us that our car has locking wipers and the ones he bought weren't compatible. He went back inside, exchanged the wipers, and we set out to put them on the car (again). It was complicated and something that we were unfamiliar with, and wouldn't you know that the same guy came out again and taught us how to put them on the car. Four stars for exceptional customer service! read more

This afternoon employee, Michael Jordan-5284- went above and beyond to attend to me and my family's needs. His swift act of kindness was stellar! read more

Its a real shame this is the only decent place to buy auto parts in the area. Their customer service is a joke. I work in the area and half to frequent this place (about every two weeks) and I'm used to how bad the service is. If you can avoid speaking to any of the employees, do so. I read Sarah J's review and it's spot-on! I had to ask my brother to pick up parts for me the other day and I had to prepare him for the experience. Needless to say, it was bad. Avoid this place if you can and I hope they restaff this autozone soon! read more

I had a flat tire and found myself stuck in this parking lot... they were very helpful when I went in trying to answer questions about the tow truck and let me sit in the parking lot for hours! When the store closed, and the tow truck was nowhere in sight, Sean came out to check on me. And then he helped me find the spare under my trunk and used his tools to help me change it!!! Hugggeee shout out to Sean, incredibly caring staff, he went above and beyond in his time off! read more

I had the worst customer experience of my life here. They had old signs for sales and promotions that were no longer valid or honored. I waited for over five minutes at the counter while employees milled around back. Credit card machines were no working but the employees didn't even know. I left after 15 or 20 minutes empty handed because I was just getting frustrated. I honestly have no idea how they are staying in business with these kind of operations. read more

This is my place for any of my vehicles problems. They store your info in their computer to make check out faster. Sometimes if I forget my break pad type they'll retrieve it for me. Prices are great and service is not bad. read more

I walk in, wearing a little black dress mind you, to be asked if I came for something specific, I said no, the employee asks me "then why are you in my store?" I told him I just didn't need his help. Instead of letting be browse the floor mats, he replies "I guess I'm gonna be on your shoulder following you around the store then," at that point I told him I wasn't going to buy anything and left. He followed me outside just to flip me off, another woman who just left the store and my boyfriend saw the encounter. I guess these employees really find it appauling when a woman asserts that she doesn't need help? Ive worked in the auto industry a majority of my life, I don't think agression is a job requirement to pick parts, but what do I know, I only had his job for half a decade. read more

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Whatever you do, do not go to this Auto Zone. Our car battery died and we got a jump and this was the closest place to go get a new one. It turns out that they didn't give us the correct size battery for our car. We found this out because our car kept dying. We got it inspected (someplace else) and they asked where we got the battery because it was was too small for the car. They couldn't do the emissions tests since there wasn't at least 100 miles driven since the car/battery completely shut off. We took it back to Auto Zone and they insisted it was the correct one. Then they tested the battery and said they needed to replace it. They must have given us the same exact one. They hadn't even bolted it in correctly. We drove the car at least 100 miles so we could get the emissions tests done. Fast forward 2 months and our car won't start...AGAIN. Nothing lights up. We have to unlock the car manually because the automatic locks don't work either. We call AAA and they send their battery guy out. He asks where on earth we got this battery?! He said it's definitely not the correct size, it's not secured in there, etc. We tell him where we got it and he told us he knows of someone that used to work at this exact location and to NEVER go there because they don't know what they are going. I'm so angry that I had to spend ANOTHER $150 THREE MONTHS later because these people are morons. So we've essentially paid $300 for the battery in our car. So do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here. read more

I generally prefer Autozone to other auto parts chains. I had a couple of bad experiences my first couple of times here...apparently they were understaffed and ended up being understocked and causing long waits. But after that, they were terrific. I did a lot of work on my car last summer, and the parts manager went out of his way to make sure I had the right tools and parts. He went the extra mile, and I now make that my regular store (though you can't beat the 19.95 oil change special at Pep Boys). I'm sure it's hard to get and keep good employees, but if you have a problem, see the boss--he's the greatest! read more

This auto zone is terrible!!! they do not know how to treat customers or what the word HELP means!! they lack customer service in many ways to say the least!! they do not even say hello to you when you walk in or how may I help you? nor does the so called "manager" even know how to speak in clear sentences, he whispers when he talks, NOBODY CAN HEAR YOU!! & all of the other employees goof around in the store & in the back , this store should be shut down until ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES GO BACK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING SCHOOL!! TERRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AVOID THIS STORE IF YOU CAN, THEY SUCK BALLS!! read more

I was driving home from the supermarket and put the air on. It was not blowing cold air, which led me to look at the temperature gauge on the drivers panel. It was up to the highest level, which caused me to feel panicky because I thought that the car would catch on fire. I was road right outside ab AutoZone, so I pulled in there and popped the hood to see if there was smoke or anything. I then went into the store and was promptly greeted by Jessica who asked if she could help me. I told her what had happened and she said it may just be the coolant and went out to look under my hood. The thing was empty despite my always getting oil changed at JL where there are supposed to top of your fluids or at least try to upsell you on other services. Jessica the called Ronal over to help me, he got the coolant and rung it up, then went to the car and put it in for me! I tried to offer him a $20 tip for helping me out, but he refused to take it, instead told me that he was happy that I was a satisfied customer. I then went vack in to commend him to Jessica. I am a female senior citizen and was so stressed as I don't know anything about cars. I have been in retail for 25 years and rarely have seen customer service of this high caliber. Writing this is the one way I can show how much it is appreciated. read more
