Even though I told them it was an old battery and I needed a jump start before I came here, they still wanted to test it first. I was told, they had many people with battery issues. And it was not necessarily the battery, but everybody's cars were just sitting during the quarantine. So why do you want to pay $100 something if it could be a cheaper fix. I gave them my battery to charge up and they told me to come back in a hour. I came back in a hour and a half and the battery was still sitting on the same spot! One man even told me that I shouldn't have waited until the end of the day, it was 4pm... After two store visits and four phone calls I finally found a store that said they could help me but it was all the way across town. I explained to him what happened and he told me the other stores just didn't feel like changing it that my car only takes two minutes to change. Which it did only take two minutes but right after he had to ring me up for an entirely different battery because I was sold the wrong one. This time I was not given the discount however so through all this mess I ended up paying more money in the end. Anyways I don't recommend coming to any auto zone ever... so unnecessarily stressful and unprofessional. At least now I know how to change a battery I guess.

Shady shady shady business practices. Left my car there early morning hours with the understanding…read morethey would reach out to SilverRock to get my repairs possibly covered. Now I might look like a young single mother that's not hip to the shit, but I actually knew exactly what needed to be repaired and that it WOULD be covered under my warranty. I get a call late in the day from a female associate saying SilverRock would not cover the repair. No further explanation. why would u wait till damn near closing to notify me? Then came the pressure to pay out of pocket. My good sis could NOT provide me a claim number which prompted me to call the warranty provider myself. They had no record Pep boys ever reached out or filed a claim LMAO how embarrassing when I showed up in person to get the details. We got all that shit straighten out needless to say. They were very humble and moved expeditiously to get me scheduled the next day. My repairs were made and seem to be holding up over a month later.
