My first new bought vehicle ;(

Really cool junk yard. Not like the old type with vehicles scattered about with no organization. They have their junk together. The Jeeps are in one section, Tahoes in another, Trans Ams here, Fords over there. Very well organized. Not a lot of unnecessary walking in here unless you like to browse around. Even has a nice online inventory checker, well vehicle checker. It wont actually tell you if the 1971 VW Beetle in the yard still has a generator or decklid on it anymore. Just if the car is there. I been in there a few times to see how long it took for my very first dealership bought vehicle to getting picked apart. 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Sad in a way, but very cool.

Pull A Part refused to sell us our part even though we were at the cash register at 5:40pm.

I've gone to another junk yard, and it can be a hit or miss b/c their selection is definitely "smaller" and there's no real accountability on their items.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Legacy GMC/Buick Westbank and feel compelled to…read morewarn others about the lack of customer service and accountability after the sale. I have been a loyal customer for years. I purchased a 2019 GMC Terrain from them with no major issues. Based on that experience, I later leased a 2023 GMC Acadia and, most recently, purchased a 2026 Buick Envista from them when my lease ended. Unfortunately, things began to go downhill during my Acadia lease. After bringing the vehicle in for a routine oil change, the service department failed to properly refill the engine oil. I drove all the way to Harahan before my check engine light and oil warning light came on. I later discovered that little to no oil had been added after the service. This was a serious mistake that could have caused catastrophic engine damage. After that incident, I never trusted their service department again. When it came time to purchase my Buick Envista, promises that had been made during my 2023 lease process suddenly disappeared. I had been told that the value of my 2019 Terrain trade-in would be applied toward my next purchase if I remained a customer. When the time came, that promise was nowhere to be found, leaving me paying significantly more than expected. While disappointing, that is not even my biggest complaint. My biggest issue is what happened after I turned in my leased Acadia. I returned the vehicle, provided the registration, and completed everything requested of me. One month after my new purchase, GMC Financial began contacting me because they have no record that the vehicle was ever turned in so I am still being charged per month for it. As a result of their incompetence, I am now dealing with collection efforts, damage to my credit, and countless headaches trying to resolve an issue that should never have happened. I have contacted Legacy GMC/Buick Westbank multiple times seeking assistance. Calls go unanswered, messages are not returned, and no one seems interested in helping fix a problem that originated with their dealership. Once the paperwork is signed and the vehicle is sold, customer service appears to end. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability has been astonishing. I have purchased or leased three vehicles through this dealership, and this is how a long-term customer is treated. I will never purchase another vehicle from Legacy GMC/Buick Westbank, nor would I recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that stands behind its customers after the sale.

I do not know where they got their new crew from, but the old advisors that were down the street are truly missed. Ms. Stanton talks about customers' issues out loud and uses offensive language; it is not cute at all. She seems to dislike her job and her coworkers just sit around and laugh and encourage her. Rebecca is sweet but she smiles and giggles with Ms. Stanton which makes her culpable as well. The only reason that I still come here is because I own a GMC and this location is close to my home. I would steer clear of this particular location if you have another one that is closer to you.

Once you get it all the problems come. Bought a car from them and needed a new battery days letter. Just found out my manual key wasn't even cut! This man say it don't take no two years to know if the key cut right! If I just told you this was my first new car, they took advantage of me because of my lack of knowledge. I thought I was getting a professional dealership, but they're not. It's not until I bought a new car from another established dealership when I saw they handled me any kind of way! The man who sold me the car never showed me the key but said it's there and my keyless entry always worked. I never needed to remove it from the slot until recently when I needed it! And just my luck the Kenner location is closed down where I got the car from. So who will be held accountable no one and I have to spend my money to get the manual key carved! Go somewhere else the amount of money you gone put in the car can be a down payment for something new!

They told him it was a sensor and reset it and told him if it comes back on to wait 30 days before bringing it to a mechanic. So that's what he did. He dropped it off at dodge after 30 days and after 2 weeks of diagnostics, the motor needs to be rebuilt. The warranty they sold him does not cover a good bit of the repairs. They want him to come up with 1500.00 to have the block machined for new cylinders. Come to find out, value motors have a 30 day warranty and this is the reason they told him to wait 30 days before bringing it to a shop. They knew the truck was bad and saw a 19yr kid that has a job and was looking to buy his 1st truck. It's pretty sickening that someone would take advantage of a good kid trying to do right in life. Stay away from this place. We are currently working with an attorney on this issue.

It is a shame that he treated clients with so much disrespect because in the next year I am planning on purchasing a new car when mine no longer works for us and it is over 200,000 miles. I would have looked at Westbank used car superstore but now that I know how your employees treat their clients I will never do business with them. I hope they redirect this mans behavior so they do not lose future business like they have lost mine! DO NOT use them they will destroy any credit you have and be completely rude to you!
