My car had been having trouble starting, I had a feeling it was the battery but not sure. I heard auto zone checks it. I called to confirm and they told me bring it in no appointment. Especially in this pandemic. Sure enough I brought it in, the girl At the front was really nice while she was busy. She made sure some one helped me. Sure enough it was battery. I had to wait in line again to check the price of the battery but I understood. I got the battery and. They were nice to exchange it. Thank you!!! I've been going to this location for 20 years, and when I had a bad experience to return the recycled oil to the back, which I know now, we cannot, so as I was going towards the back to stop at the end of the counter, the manager was so RUDE and yelling DO NOT GO TO THE BACK, and I was going to stop at the end of the counter anyway, I know the rules. I didn't set up to go to this location ... I ended in this location. Let me explain - in this current economic environment, the value of my time is directly relative to the amount of money expected to be spent. Sometimes, I rather pay out the 20 bucks instead of spending 2 hours of my time washing the car. In this specific case, it is a broken hose in my older import. Now I have a couple of highly trusted mechanics, but they come at a high price, so paying $75 dollars per hour in labor just to replace a hard to reach hose is at this time...out of the question. Enter Auto Zone - These guys are helpful to a fault, it is sort of like going to the Dr. A good Dr. You tell them you case, they brainstorm with you and in the end, a viable solution is found. In this case, we figured that pivot socket would help me reach the clamp so I could loosen the screw... mission accomplished. I then took the old hose back, again...these store was not my first choice because I have Napa closer (different review) but the other guys are not as resourceful. So I make the trek back to Autozone with my broken hose, and we brainstorm again until we find a viable solution. A similar hose that needed to be cut to size... but instead of taking the easy way out and sending me out the door on my way to the dealership, these guys take the time and make it their business to find a solution. Now that is total 5 stars in my book ! read more

Came here to replace my car battery and the rep Clement was extremely helpful and courteous. Very chill and honest. He helped clean, test, find my battery warranty, and replace my battery all within 20 min. I had dock a star for the rep originally helping me... I did not get his name but he was an older gentleman that did not seem to want to help me much and tried to get me to clean my battery myself without understanding that i had no problem to do so but need to know if there was instruction. Because of the language barrier since English is not a requirement in Miami, it was frustrating. Clement saw my struggle and jumped in. Overall a very clean store and helpful if they can. read more

By no means do I know my way around an engine but I can change wiper blades and top off auto fluids. The guys and girl at this auto zone are great! Right when you walk in you're greeted and when not servicing other customers they always offer to help. I went to find a cabin air filter that I've been having a difficult time looking for online. Called this store and spoke with someone from sales. He was able to find the filter and put it on hold for the day. I went to go pick it up and they were able to quickly get me out the store. The only problem I have with this store is that some of the staff do not speak English well so it was a bit of a challenge on the phone. However, this will become my auto parts go to. read more

This is probably the Autozone which more sell and that is because a great staff. They are very helpful and patient. Last night I was served my Mrs Magdalena 10 minutes before closing. Obviously, she was tired but served me with a great smile and humor. If i could rate this with no stars i would. First off, this place needs someone who knows what they are doing. They all spoke Spanish and kept on telling me to wait off to the side (i think). Their service was slow. When asked to have my car scanned by the computer they had no clue what i was talking about. I would like to give a shoutout to Alex though. This man helped us for all 7 hours we were there. The manager, Jackquelin (idk how to spell it), on the other hand should have been there. I have received the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, by the Manager Jacqueline on Autozone 9806 sw 8th street... This manager is very UNPROFESSIONAL! I was parked outside of this autozone for 2 hours my battery completely dead, walked inside and asked if my battery could be charged for an hour (battery which had been bought in this same location with 3 year warranty) and was not helped! I had one of the associates try to help me and was screamed at while she was trying to assist me! Take this for sure, this place will never be recommended to anyone.. The staff at store 1215 is very friendly the manager Jacqueline is a different story. She is very rude, she doesnt speak fluent English, she is disrespectfull towards costumer and her staff member in front of costumers. It took us 2 days and 5 trips to the store to be able to exchange an alternator that we previously bought with a lifetime warranty. The second day she made us wait for her for over 30 minutes. Have used this store in the past without any issues. Things have apparently changed. Two days ago my battery started dying, so I came to this store where it was purchased in Nov 2010. It was obvious from the get-go that these guys didn't want anything to do with me. The first person kept telling me that I wasn't in their system (he was typing the information wrong). After I "helped" him to type it correctly - "No sir you don't write my First Name where it says Last Name" - he kept stalling and finally said I had to speak with the supervisor Juan. Juan, a large fellow finally offered to give me $26 off for a $100 battery with a 2 year warranty. But he said nobody would help install it because it was drizzling. Just at that time Stooge #1 came in a little damp because he had been installing windshield wipers for some cute girl that needed help with that. I left those douche bags and went to Costco. They sold me a battery with a 3 year warranty for $72. No, they don't install, but they allowed me to go around the back and loaned me the tools to do it myself. Stay away from Auto Zone all together ...I purchased a $300 fuel pump for my Pontiac G6 in May of 2014...it lasted 9 months! I purchased it on Orlando they had to special order it,..It is a piece of crap made by Spectra... I contacted the store at 1200 Sw avenue Miami Fl The manager there, Edgar said we needed to come to the store and pay for a new pump then upon returning the old pump I would get reimbursed..I don't have $300 lying around.. Edgar called me back and said he had a great idea that he had another fuel pump in stock different brand and would let us swap it out for that one...I agreed , took a bus to the location when Frank (Parts manager) brought out the new fuel pump we noticed the connectors were , thus making it the wrong fuel pump...I kept my composure and asked them nicely to order me another piece of crap Spectra...Frank ordered it and told me it would arrive to their store in 2 days... I called them to see if my part was there and they said later ,...later ....later...after the 3rd call I asked to speak to Edgar the clerk comes back to the phone and says that my fuel pump was there but that Edgar had set it to the side for me ....I went to pick up the pump...when I arrived I noticed it was the same pump they tried to give me 2 days prior...Edgar suggested a connector with a pigtail...I agreed ,it was my 2nd time taking the bus there....I got home and tried connecting the pump the pigtail was fine but now I have a problem with connecting it to the sending unit as the clips is a different size...I called Edgar and his response wast that I did not know what I was doing!!! He said he has been a mechanic for 20 years, he needs to go back to doing mechanic because he is not a good manager! read more
