Excellent service from AJ. It took him less than a minute to figure out the problem with my break lights.

First off, their service is great. It's really the only thing preventing me from giving 1 star…read moreinstead of 3. Everyone was friendly and helpful, unfortunately, their mechanical incompetence repairing my BMW was inexcusable. I bought a used BMW with around 90k miles and I knew that the car would need some work. Euro ultimate seemed like a good candidate. I had the rear shocks replaced (no problem there) and the transmission flushed (more on this later). During the repair, I was given a loaner (very nice of them) but it was a corolla from the 90's with over 200k on the odometer. Still, it didn't break down or anything. My car has a GM transmission which specified Dexron VI transmission fluid, in an effort to give me the "best performance" they used a more expensive Pentosin fluid instead. Despite that the Pentosin fluid is more expensive, it was the wrong fluid and could have easily caused overheating and damage to my transmission. When I called them about the issue, they were understanding and said they would redo the transmission flush for free and pay for the fluid if I wanted to buy it from Autozone. So I went around 3 Autozones and bought the fluid, and they paid for it and redid the flush. After I returned home, I noticed a layer of red fluid over my trunk. It turned out that they had far overfilled the transmission fluid and it was leaking, resulting in the spray. When I brought it back again, they said that the spray was "normal" and told me not to worry about it. It turns out that there was at least 2 quarts of extra fluid in the trans and a thermometer was not used to adjust the fluid level (the trans should be hot and the fluid should be just flowing out from the drain plug). I ended up surrendering and taking the car to another BMW specialist to get the fluid level adjusted. They were very nice, and tried to correct any issues. But messing up the fluid and the fluid level could have caused irreparable damage to my car. This mistake could have easily be prevented by looking up the correct part on a website like RealOEM or the professional cost-estimation software they likely had access to.
