And helps combat the nearby long time staple in the area autozone. Last night for the first time I actually made my first visit here. Store is about midsized and seemed clean. I was looking for a battery for a co worker who was broke down and when calling this place they were about $50 cheaper then autozone. Upon walking into an empty store I was greeted by nobody. I could here workers in the back. And I could hear one say "someone is here I think" and they all seemed surprised they had a customer at 830pm. Not sure that bodes well for how popular they are. While cheaper then auto zone i did not get the same confidence that I was getting accurate an Knowledgeable info from the worker here. He didn't get much help from the faceless co workers who I could hear dropping f bombs and laughing in the back. So kinda felt bad for the kid. He seemed confused and disinterested. Probably more interested in hanging with the boys in the back. Overall, I did get a cheaper deal then autozone down the street. However for future reference I think I'll only come back if there is a big price difference. I definetly wouldn't feel comfortable coming here to get advice on a car or parts after this one visit. I'll stick with ole trusty autozone on that for now until shown otherwise I guess.

I called late Monday and asked if they could do it for my specific vehicle, and by the end of the week because I was heading out of town for Labor Day weekend and needed it to haul our trailer. In about 30 seconds she said "If you can let me now by the end of the day we can get you in Wednesday afternoon". A quick phone call to the wife later and I called her back to confirm. After the runaround and the lack of interest in what I was trying to do at U-Haul, this was the best news I could have gotten. Wednesday afternoon I showed up at 2pm, gave them my keys and sat down in the waiting room while they installed the hitch. All of the staff I interacted with at Dukes was knowledgeable and friendly. The sales floor is packed with more stuff having to do with hauling that I ever imagined existed. About an hour-and-a-half later they came to get me, I paid, and I was on my way. Sure, I paid more than I would have a U-Haul, but there's something to be said for convenience and a staff that cares about their customers. I know it's a short order for a big ask, especially with a holiday weekend coming up, but when the voice on the other end said "Yes, we can!" I knew I'd made the right choice.

I'm from Los Angeles and these guys are in Louisville KY We did a film in the Louisville KY area and one of our trailers was left in storage for almost a year, having no idea of the condition or anything of the sit, we placed a call to ask Bill (the owner) and he easily and happily went to the storage yard and picked it up for us and brought it to his facility and began to ascertain whether or not the trailer was roadworthy and would make a trip back to Southern California. He stayed in constant and efficient communication with me and called in help from an outside source to handle the issues that were not their expertise and at the end of the 2 weeks, we drove out and picked up the trailer and met him and his staff.... Great people, service that is out of this world and extraordinary and they could certainly teach some other businesses how to run their operation !! Thanks to Bill and his entire team at Dukes !

It was 30 minutes before closing. We were driving along on I-65 when my 2016 Acura engine started jerking and the dash started showing various emissions messages. We pulled off and got something to eat to strategize. Of course the Acura dealership was already closed since it was 8 PM so I sat at Taco Bell googling emissions error messages. Decided maybe step 1 was to get a new battery. Always had luck with/O'Reilly in my home town of Lafayette, IN so headed there. Explained the situation to the nice young man and he came out to look at my car. Was not able to test the electrical system because he could not find my OBD2 port. But he continued to ask questions and I showed him the error message. I popped my hood and he suggested we look at my engine air filter. It was pretty dirty. I replaced that with a new one and got premium gas as he recommended. Voilà! Error message and car ran perfectly! We made it to FL smoothly. This young man deserves a raise! (I am being totally serious--he deserves a raise!). Best customer service ever! Thank you for your patience and your assistance. You saved our trip and saved me lots of $ (the Honda dealer in town wanted $140 to replace the filter). Excellent experience with an excellent human being.

I've been a half dozen times or so and have always found something I wanted/need for one of my cars. I think the sections are fairly well organized, and if you take the time to look up what you need online they label where everything is on the yard. I've found this to be helpful, as the cars are always where they say they are. Zero gate fee if you're military, and that's a cool bonus. Saves you a few bucks every visit.

I'm used to places where they have a shack, a turnstile and you give some guy a couple bucks to go in. ISA has a large, spacious, air conditioned structure with a professional staff that is ready to point you in the direction of the vehicle you need. Speaking of which, finding the vehicles you're looking for couldn't be easier! There is signage! Honest-to-god signage that says things like "Ford Trucks" rather than "Domestic Truck / Van / Car." The yard is tidy, with nicely raised vehicles and without the flotsam and jetsam of discarded parts that normally litters the ground. Also, free of charge, they make wheel barrows available for you. How awesome is that?! Anyone who's lugged their toolbox around and then tried to figure out how they're going to get the parts they need up to the counter can agree that this idea works. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The prices are good (for salvage parts, anyway) and the availability of vehicles is pretty decent. I was not expecting such a good experience, but I'm very happy to know that ISA is around!
