The people who work here are friendly. They're okay with me. One guy went out of his way to help me out. Saved me a lot of money too.

Horrible customer service. I bought a Cruise Control kit for my 2007 drive-by-wire Silverado…read morepickup. When I rolled over my throttle pedal harness connectors, breaking them, I called a CS woman at Rostra. They would not help sell me a harness, other than referring me to an 'authorized distributor'. Well, I called both of the distys here in CA, gave them the PN and wanted to order the harness. Never got a call back from either, nor, after calling them again, could I get an answer... a small cable assembly from a $250 kit was just not worth the effort to them. Now I have a kit that I've got to rig together. Hope their liability insurance covers my work. Very not happy.

I agree with Brad H. Customer service is worthless, at best. I had my system installed by a shop…read morein another state. It failed(out of warranty, natch), and I called to get a repair manual(I was willing to pay for it). They bluntly told me that they would not give, or sell me, any information. They offered to refer me to a 'certified' repair tech. O.K. I know how to repair electronic gadgets(if I have a schematic), but I would spring for a tech visit. I had a bad feeling about this guy. He had a cheap multi-meter and NO documentation, and didn't act like he knew his ass from a hole in the ground(as my Grandma used to say). He finally decided that the problem was an intermittent ground in the upper brake light(which wasn't accessible because of the work box.) When I expressed an opinion that the diagnosis was 'bull-puckey', he claimed that it was a real common problem, and demanded his $85. Of course, the ground was fine, and my check was cashed about 20 min. later.
