This piece took my van out of commission, we went to O'Reilly in the hopes of a quick fix. Unfortunately they didn't have the exact part we needed and since it was after 7 their distribution center closed. While I attempted to entertain the three little kids the O'Rielly associate, Benny, went way above and beyond for us. He went to home depot in search of a part that would be a temporary fix, with no luck. He drove my husband to AutoZone, again with no luck. We spent basically four hours with Benny trying to find some way to fix our van and be on our way. Sadly we had to delay our trip and spend the night in Toledo, but they had the part for us early in the morning and directed us to someone who could properly attach the part for free. Benny and Eddy at O'Reilly made a terrible situation much better than it would have been otherwise. I only wish I lived in the vicinity so I could frequent the store for all my auto parts needs.

It seemed weird they didn't have any so when I got home I called autp store to see if they carried them and that guy said yes. Headed back out again to the store. By this time I was upset. They then told me they did not have anything or anything like it. I would never return. Who tells someone to go to a craft store for ball bearings? I've been to this location of Valvoline on many occasions since it is a convenient location for me…read more Normally, the wait time isn't bad and I have had a phenomenal, quick experience. Today, however, I pulled in with only one car ahead of me being serviced. I didn't think it would be a big deal because they had generally been efficient in the past, but this was a long wait. I appreciated that Marc came out to greet me and check on the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure, in addition to scanning my car in to hopefully expedite the process. He was very polite and professional but also told me he'd been working since 9am and it was roughly 5:30pm when I had gotten in line. I felt sorry that he'd had a long day, but so had I but I tried to be patient. Anyway, once it was finally my turn, I came to understand why the car before me had taken so long. Apparently they had two staff members that were fairly new. There was immediate confusion over my transmission because whatever tool they tried to put into it wouldn't fit and finally, after consultation with several staff members, they determined that it was sealed but serviceable. The person in the pit underneath the car said that nothing was leaking... to give me peace of mind. I was told I was missing a transmission cap and I told them the last time anyone had done anything under the hood was the last time I had been there for my last oil change. Another staff member came to explain to me that I could get another cap but that it wasn't urgent. It was suggested that the cap could have simply come off on its own. Honestly, I can't help thinking that it was the result of my last service with them, but no way to prove it. They didn't have a cap to remedy the situation. Next problem was that I needed a new filter that they didn't have in stock. I was told I could pick it up at an auto parts store and they would install it. Then another staff member said they would call me when they got one in stock. At last, when my dirty filter was put back into my car and it was time to pay, one of the new staff members had to wait on someone else for guidance on how to check me out on their computer. Fortunately they were able to scan an online coupon and my credit card was scanned and approved. I felt better about the price with the promo code applied. I was thanked again for my patience (which was honestly growing thin at this point). I had a headache by the time I left. If I hadn't desperately needed an oil change, I would have left rather than endure all of this. Still, I have given 3 stars because the staff members were very nice and apologetic for the long wait. It's not their fault that they were new and needed training/experience - but it was somebody's fault in management. I will still return to this location and give them another chance based on my previous positive experiences.

BUT tried to upsell me on everything and was telling me I needed a 300-400 dollar repair on my car, and another 127 dollar repair. And to humor me he said he would give me the 127 dollar one for 122 dollars. GOODBYE. What got me is that on my receipt he didn't even check the parts of my car he said were broken. He was just pulling these expensive problems out of thin air. I left the parking lot bawling because he also told me that my car MAYBE had a few more good months. MIND YOU, I just got this car. And you're literally not a mechanic just because you work at Valvoline. ALSO, took my car to my mechanic. Not surprised the guy that worked here was so completely wrong. If you wanna leave here thinking your car is gonna blow up if you drive in a few more miles, then go here! Yeah maybe I'm gullible for being worried, but maybe he shouldn't be lying. Never going here again, Lambertville Valvoline has given me PTSD.

After an alignment check, a dealership told us we needed a new axle. We took it to Ambrosia's and they were able to pinpoint the exact issue, costing us much less than originally quoted by the dealership. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. We have trusted Ryan and the team to work on our vehicles prior to this, and we have always walked away feeling confident in the work that was completed and not feeling taken advantage of like so many other places.

It is a comfortable experience whether an oil change or a problem that is beyond usual understanding. The staff asks the right questions to understand the problem and then are able to get your car in with concern for your schedule. I am very appreciative of the efforts the garage made in two problems that I struggled with and had tried to get assistance from other garages: I could not open the hatch because the handle was broken. They found a replacement and I again had a truck to store items. The broken door on the driver side drained the battery and I needed to get the car jumped frequently. I had to drive the car every day or the battery would be dead. Once Ambrosia's fixed these problems my life became easier.
