Literally can't even get an educated person to speak like they have sense and answer the phone. No one wants to do their job. I called for two hours straight and got no answer/placed on hold or hung up on lmao. When I went in person I WATCHED the man go answer the phone and come back quickly like he ain't even answer. Priest and Bertrande greeted me with a friendly smile, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! They replaced by battery with no issues. Purchased a new battery Sept 9, 2019. January of 2021, battery would not start the truck with several attempts. Got a jump twice and each time car would not start again. The second time I let the car run for 30 minutes turn off and would not turn right back on. I called this Autozone where I purchased the battery for inquiry into a replacement. The battery has a 3 yr warranty, and they had 1 in stock. I tell the rep who I spoke with that I was on my way to get it. I arrive within 30 minutes only to have to wait, so that they could check my dead battery. I had the car running 30 minutes as I waited. Turned the car off with the rep and he says he doesn't think it's the battery,as he adjust the cables on the reader several times, but car won't start again. A second rep comes and right away says the battery is no good. Go back inside only to be told they just sold the battery as I was waiting to be checked. The entire time I was there I watched a supervisor go to lunch and come back 30 minutes later to help me. I have been here for the last hour and still waiting on a battery from another location. They get no stars from me, but yelp wouldn't allow none. Though they are the closest to my home, I hate this place. This mess is ridiculous. read more

This Autozone location was the best one I've ever been too. Everyone was so helpful & went above and beyond to make sure I was good. The store manager Mr. Keith was hands on and actually came outside to make sure what I needed was taken care of on my vehicle. Sales manager Ms. Sandi, Tyler M., and Ashely J. Were helpful too. The have the selection of most car needs, but there are too many people in line that don't know what they want, and there is no where to get service except to slow down those who just want to get in and out. The only reason I even bother with this place is because it's right by my job. But the line is always long even though they have about 10 people working behind the counter. There is no real customer service and some of the employees have such bad attitudes. I was standing in line today watching the employees walk around like chickens with their heads cut off. One employee kept peeking from back behind where the parts are kept. It was like he was checking to see if the line was to long so that he could come and assist, but he never did...smh!!!! Now that Advance Auto is across the street, I won't be coming here anymore. This place is a hot mess- stay away!!!! read more

A car enthusiast, I am pretty well informed on most car problems and how to fix them. When I go to AutoZone, it is usually just to pick up parts -- not get help. I am originally from NC, and AutoZone in NC was like an advice store, supply store and mechanic spot (employees would help you fix your cars). Big change at this Autozone. In fact, this AutoZone seems to be the warehouse that stores parts that all other AutoZones in PG County feed from. In other words, you can get any obscure, low-sold parts, here. Sadly, they don't seem to realize this will cause a flood of people and the line fills up quickly. Wait times can be up to 15-20 minutes just to pick up a part or ask a question. In addition, many of the employees here have the Southern Maryland Attitude (SMA) and seem angry about every little thing. Do yourself a favor -- if you have a time limit or low patience, go across the street to Advanced Auto. It is faster. PS - I went to this location and had an employee tell me my battery was dead, after she charged it. Immediately after, I took the battery to Advanced Auto and the battery was not dead or non-functional - the AutoZone employee just did not know how to operate her equipment. FYI read more

The service at this location was terrible. They directed me toward the wrong line and barked at me to get to another one. I waited in line for an over an hour to get a car battery changed. They had me exit the line after I indicated what I needed. During this time the phones were ringing off the hook and workers were walking around doing nothing. They were going to change someone else's battery who was in the back of the line before addressing anyone else. One worker began cursing under his breath. At that point I left and went across the street to Advance Auto Parts. Much better quality service. read more

I called two nights ago for a transmission dipstick for a jeep. Nobody did not carry it (advance auto, pepboys) they told me to go to the dealership. FOR A DIPSTICK autozone said they had one and had me on hold for. 20 mins looking for it but could not find it. I called a couple more autozones, the computer said they had it but they could not find it. The next afternoon I called about the same thing and they had it. Just happy for them to have it read more
