I purchased BMC performance air filters for my new Nissan Z here. I picked them up when they were…read moreready. When I tried to install them, they did not seem to fit correctly. I emailed them and got a response the next business day. After a couple of emails, they were willing to give me a refund. When I went back to get that done, I spoke to the owner, who asked if I'd mind letting him see the issue. I had no problem. The new filters were clearly of higher quality then the ones that came with the car. They also were made withy higher quality materials. That seemed to be the issue. The old filters fit very loosely into the air filter housing and the new ones did not fit easily. After a few minutes and some pictures, the owner discovered that the filters do fit, they are just far more snug. He as willing to give me the refund or have someone trim the filters. After they fit, neither was necessary. They'll work fine. I really appreciated how willing EDO was to deal with the issues I had, including giving me a refund, which I ended up not wanting. I already saw that they have a great selection of high end car lubricants and I will be back here to have them do the oil changes on the car. I came in to buy air filters and I left wanting to be a returning customer.

My feedback reflects my experience and the issues I faced…read more The EDO product line is strong, including the Tomioka Turbos. I purchased a used unit from a vehicle with a blown engine. The engine failure was not caused by the Tomioka turbo. The turbo held together through an internal engine implosion. The blade damage was minimal and no damages to the bearing, which shows the strength and build quality of the unit. EDO assisted with obtaining the missing components for this pre-owned kit. They supplied the required bolts, nuts, gaskets, couplings and the sensor in a fast and efficient manner. Due to current pricing and inflation, the total parts cost was about 1,000 dollars. The turbo kit has performed above expectation. My vehicle produces 361 hp and 301 tq at the wheels on flex fuel. I expect solid service from this pre-owned kit. If any issue arises, I take comfort in knowing a long-standing shop such as EDO Performance is available to support me.

This used to be a Pep Boys auto supply store - well, the Pep Boys is still there, at least the…read moreservice center - which this store is attached to, but the store itself is now owned by Advance Auto Parts. If you drive a German car, Liqui Moly synthetic oil is among the best brands you can get for your car to keep it happy and in good shape. Unfortunately, it's not something that's usually carried in-store, but more so something that you have to order and have shipped to you. I checked stock for all the Autozones and O'Reillys in the immediate area, and all of them required delivery. After widening my search, I came across this website for Advance Auto Parts - never heard of them before, but found that they were local so decided to stop by. There's a cheesy robotic voice that greets you as you walk into the store "Welcome to our store!" - but after a few steps in, I was cheerfully greeted by Laura. The store looks similar to when it was owned by Pep Boys - except it was cleaner, more organized, well-stocked. Prices were competitive considering that you had a large variety of items available on hand. As mentioned above, I was able to pick up my Liqui Moly oil products, as well as other items that I usually have to get delivered. Price is slightly higher than online - but that's understandable, considering that it's readily available vs. from a warehouse with lower overhead. Checkout was prompt and efficient. Laura helped me sign up for their rewards program which came with additional offers/coupons I was able to use off my purchase. Very helpful! Seeing how their prices are competitive to Autozone/O'Reilly's, I'll probably shop here now for my auto product needs. They have a large parking lot (they share it with the Skechers Factory Outlet, Pep Boys, and a hot-dog restaurant).

I did not see this item taped to the battery until after I got home with it. No one asked if I wanted the protectors nor pointed out that they were an additional purchase. I didn't need/want the protectors. The next day I return with the UN-OPENED battery protectors for a refund and was told "ALL SALES FINAL". After some back and forth with the mgr. (I assume) they granted a refund. What shocked me was the person whom I dealt with defended this practice of selling you product you didn't need (surreptitiously) and then ALL SALES FINAL! As I was told this is corporate policy (the protectors taped on the batteries), seems Advance Auto needs some lessons in retail ethics. Never had this problem when Pep Boys ran the parts stores.
