It completely won me over. I never wetn back. Phenomenal people - beautifully laid out - totally professional. My most recent experience - last week - was I walked into the store - as I so often do - in need of some advice / expertise. There was a friendly young man, Zach. I asked him a somewhat technical question about a piece of equipment I wanted to buy. There were several types at a range of prices. Zach led me - with perfect clarity to the right piece at the right price. Then explained to me exactly how to use it. I walked out - as I always do from this great store - with a COMPLETE solution. Zach is a young superstar on the rise. Great attitude. Knowledgeable. Provides above and beyond service. his extra effort didn't result in any immediate dollars going into the store's daily revenue. But it solidified in my heart and mind why O'Reilly's is my ONLY go to store in their specialty. I recommend to O'Reilly's Auto Trader Corporate. Sneak in a video camera and train it on Zach on any day he works there. You could use that as an absolute role model for training others. They replaced the Rack and Pin. Assbly. along with two power steering hose. They also made a recommendation that a gasket and oil pan needed to be replaced. I drove it 8 miles and when I pulled into the Driveway smoke was coming out of the hood. About a 1.5 years ago I had a problem with the drivers seat not latching and staying upright. Tech Auto was recommended and Todd had it looked at and fixed it and didn't charge me anything. So when I had this problem with the smoke I had the car towed in. Todd told me the two power steering hoses were installed incorrectly and fixed that along with replacing all the power steering fluid. He also replaced an oil pressure switch which was wear the oil was coming from not a gasket or the oil pan. The radiator cap was missing and they found it down in the engine and replaced the coolant which was wear the smoke was coming from. I will never take my car anywhere else but to Tech Auto. Todd was HONEST, EFFICENT, AND HIS PRICES were very fair. Since this has happened I've told some people about my experience and I've gotten nothing but positive feedback from people I know that also have their car worked on at #TECH AUTO of Hamden 55 Connolly Pkwy.

Once we got the car there, they were able to look at it and determined that just a backing plate got pushed out of place. Fixed it and we were on our way in 15 minutes. No charge.
