Within minutes, a NAPA employee showed up with a jump kit which got my vehicle to the NAPA storefront. He tested the battery and offered me several options on battery replacements. He then installed it and tested it again to make sure everything was working properly. While breaking down is no fun, doing it next to a NAPA and its friendly and knowledgeable employees who will solve the problem for you is highly recommended. After consulting with Vince, his more experienced partner, it was determined the wiring harness quote was off by $175.00. This purchase is a cost/benefit equation so I had to make a decision. After considering all the options, I decided to go ahead with it. Utijlmatey it was $91.00 more. Vince stepped in and helped with the labor of taking apart the rear interior to get the job done. Wiring a German made SUV isn't always an exact science. The Audi dealership quoted $1,200.00, I would never pay that but it was a point of reference. I felt confidant that I was getting quality work here and they would stand behind it. I was a bit bothered they were off the original estimate. It was just that...an estimate so...all is well that ends well.
