After talking to my Lexus dealership we concluded that it was the 12v hybrid battery. So after USAA jumped started my car we drove to advance auto parts (after calling to confirm they had the battery we needed) and was faced with such GREAT customer service. EVERYONE we spoke to was super helpful! They had us come back because one of them was going on lunch and he said he'd help us change it out and do any computer work that was needed. Having acquired the vehicle less than six months ago I did not know what condition the brakes were in aside from the fact that the braking power wasn't very good followed by these other indicators. I took the truck to Budget Brakes in Clarksville, and within the hour I received a call back that they found the leaks and could have it repaired by the end of the day. They had to run new brake lines as the old ones from '93 had rusted onto the old leaky drum brakes. The price was in the realm of what I'd expected and was pleased to have the truck back the same day. Lord knows that was a good amount of work. Driving the truck home was like night and day, the difference in braking power from the repair they made. I have been driving on the new brakes and lines for about two weeks now with no leaks, no warning lights, and excellent braking. They also let me know the front rotors were bad, but I opted to fix those myself. Once I took them off I could see they truly were deeply grooved on the back sides and a little warped. All in all I feel that Budget Brakes is a company I can trust to be honest with me about the condition of my brakes, give me the service I need, and do a professional and quality job to have the car ready ASAP. They didn't use gauges, nor measured the thickness of the rotors. They didn't attempt to resurface them on the lathe, they simply told her that it looked like they had been attacked by a cougar. Since we were taking a trip out of town that day I told her to go ahead and get them replaced for safety but emphasized that she bring the old rotors home for me to look at. There is Soo much metal that can be cut off from the rotors as shown in the pictures. And as for the "cougar" attacking them... The grooves are always unnoticeable. Sad to say that this shop used scare tactics by telling her they HAD to be replaced in order to make a sale.

My car had just gotten a complete checkup 30 days prior and except for the engine oil leak none of the other items mentioned were found at the prior inspection. when I went to pick up my car, I was directed to the credit card reader to make my payment. Upon review of my statement, I seen that I was charged for using my credit card. No one told me there was an upcharge for using my credit card. I was also told that my oil change was 10,000 miles overdue. I asked if anyone had checked the windshield sticker, to actually see when my last oil change was done. That was a collective NO. Let's talk numbers, since that's clearly the only language spoken here. This is a ~$100,000 vehicle. The tire in question is a budget Nexen tire worth roughly $200. Your own business cards advertise $100 referral fees. White's Auto Mall chose to protect a $200 tire instead of a customer. As a direct result: * I am moving all warranty and service work to another dealer * I canceled my upcoming Ram order * I switched to Ford You didn't lose me because of a tire. You lost me over principle, accountability, and a complete lack of customer advocacy. What makes this worse is the safety implication. This was a steer-tire failure at highway speed. Dismissing a customer because they followed proper blowout safety procedure sends a dangerous message: it punishes safe behavior and incentivizes unsafe actions just to "preserve evidence." That's not how serious safety issues should ever be handled. No concern for safety. No escalation. No attempt to help. Just delay, dismissal, and indifference. If this is how White's Auto Mall handles customers after a serious interstate safety event, buyers should think very carefully about where they spend their money.
