Autozone - My pick up order confirmation. Never got any other updates after that.

I needed to get some touch up paint for my car. The location by me was out so I placed a pick up…read moreorder on 6/21/24 at this location as it showed they have some in stock. I got an order number confirmation the same day but unfortunately I got no other notification on the order status which was strange and a problem because I needed it right away. I decided to go to the location when they opened the next day. When I walk in, I stood in line. There was a woman sales associate taking of a customer in front of me who was singing to music that was playing in the store which I thought was strange. When it was my turn, I told her the situation of not getting any updates on a pickup order, that when I look up the order number all it says is "processing". While standing there, a man came in and she tended to him by giving him a tool kit and having conversation with him which I thought was rude. Then another young female worker came to her for assistance without apologizing for interrupting or anything. I notice that the woman's name was Kimberly Blue, who is actually the Store Manager. She leaves to go check on my order and comes back with nothing in hand and tells me "we don't have it". I told her why didn't I get an email indicating this so I didn't make a wasted trip to this location? She then tells me "I have nothing to do with you making a wasted trip". This is a manager talking to me like this? I told her that somebody at her store did not follow up on this order to conclude that it wasn't in stock. She says "what do you want me to do" and offered to call another store to see if they had it in stock. By this time, the disrespect had totally turned me off. Note: she is still singing while taking care of me along with having an attitude. The store luckily had it and I asked her to have them hold it. So, I had to leave there and drive in the opposite direction as well as a longer distance from my neighborhood to get the paint. I agree with Yvette W.'s review, this employee doesn't act like a manager at all. I was surprised to read in her review that after calling corporate, Kimberly Blue still is working there as manager. I will say that the other location on 87th and Stony Island (separate review to come) had great customer service. I did ask the manager at that location for the district manager's information. He showed me the posted sign that has three manager's names. I called the district manager, Carmon Dowell (see attached), left a message and never got a call back. I called the regional manager Henry Ortiz and the number is not even in service which is unacceptable. Don't you even care about issues going on in the stores you handle? I won't be back to this location. Along with the bad experience, I was shocked at how much the area has changed. At 8 a.m., there were about 70 people hanging out right outside the store. I'm not sure if they were migrants that were looking to hustle for work on cars but as a single female by myself that day, I was extremely uncomfortable and this looks very bad for the business but actually, I don't think anyone really cares.

I came in to inquire about windshield wipers, and a battery. Everette was very kind, patient, and…read moreknowledgeable as I knew nothing about any of this stuff. Thank you Everett for a great customer service experience.
