None of these junk yards really know if the transmissions they are selling you are good or bad because half the cars they pull them out of are destroyed. The only thing you can hope for is that the yard stands behind there transmissions and replaces them if there is a problem. Fenix will do everything in their power to put you through the ringer sending videos, pictures, codes, fluid samples, invoices, etc... This is all fine but when you send them everything they need they take a full week to get you an answer and half the time the answer is "We need more videos". Then if the warranty is not approved they do t let you know. They just don't call you back. I have read other reviews and this seems like common practice with them

They even bettered Costco's deal for replacement auto battery with a quality brand, AC Delco that had a longer warranty. Another time I remember they spent a good amount of time on line for me researching a proper replacement headlight harness. I'm glad I've created an account there so I can get parts quickly when necessary. On-line venders may often times be cheaper, but have no one to speak to when issues arise, returns have to be made, or need something quicker. Something to be said of the Mom&Pops shop.
