The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. The part was broken and my two week waiting period flushed.

Unfortunately, my vehicle purchase did not meet the level of service I was promised. Before taking delivery, I was assured that the scratch on the driver's door would be repaired. That never happened. I was also repeatedly told that a replacement grille had been ordered, only to later find out that it had not been ordered at all. Honest communication goes a long way, and I was disappointed by the lack of transparency throughout the process. To make matters worse, the vehicle was not properly detailed before I took delivery. When you're purchasing a vehicle, especially from a dealership, you expect it to be presented in excellent condition. Lastly, I only received one key with the vehicle. Every vehicle I've purchased in the past has come with two keys, and I was disappointed that this wasn't addressed. What bothered me most wasn't just the individual issues--it was the overall lack of follow-through and customer service after the sale. Customers deserve honest communication and for commitments to be honored. I hope this dealership takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and improves its attention to detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dean Carter Chevrolet.
