I came in to purchase a can of r134a for my AC. As a woman I've never had to do this myself until today. A gentleman by the name of Jose was kind enough to show me how to install myself. I learned something new today! Thanks Jose for all the help!

They need to add the fine print (Only if we feel like doing it at the time)

If I could give them minus stars I would. I came last night to get my battery tested around 9:15pm. I was told they could do it but it would take an hour to charge and they were closing early to have the floors cleaned. (They close at 10). I was told to come in the morning and they could help me remove my battery to charge it and test it. I came in at 7:30am to have it charged and tested. The manager Jose gave me an attitude and tells me it'll take 2 hrs, clearly he goes not want to help me. He comes outside to check, goes back inside for the tools and never comes back. I go back inside to ask if he's going to help me. He said that battery will take 20 min to take out. I said so that's why you're not going to help me? Then he says I can't leave my employee alone to help you. Mind you there's me and one other customer in the store. Totally rude! Unhelpful! Customer service with this manager was the worst. I don't know exactly how he was given a management position. So do yourself a favor and avoid this auto zone!!! Corporate will be hearing from me. Revising my review thanks to Gabriel. Exceptional customer service!! He took it upon himself to assist me when his manager Jose refused to help. After reading other reviews it looks as though Gabriel is consistent with the level of customer service he provides to customers. I think Gabriel needs to be promoted to management. He is truly the definition of management material and customer service. I'm glad that he there to help me. Thank you Gabriel!!

READ THE REVIEWS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY DO NOT SELL LOW MILEAGE ENGINES! The engines had…read morethe appropriate amount of carbon build up for a 200,000+ mile engine from the US! This guy Joe is a snake, and extremely rude and will lie to get the sale and your money! BASED on other reviews her will call you a liar and you never bought anything from him. Too many RED FLAGS! There are plenty of bad reviews and I think some of the good ones are fake. We purchased an engine from here for a camry. It didn't even turn over and had so much crud inside the engine that there was no way this was a 40,000-60,000 km engine from Japan. We returned the engine the following week and Joe gave us a hard time tell us it was our fault that the engine did not work. My husband & son are mechanics by profession and work for the CITY of Los Angeles. He gave them a hard time and did not want to honor the warranty. The warranty is 30 days. My husband had to put his foot down and demanded the warranty be honored. Finally Joe, gave in and gave them another engine which my husband insisted that he inspect internally with a borescope and demanded he does a compression test. He did not want to do it. Gave bunch of excuses and my husband told him that's ok, I have all day. He finally let my husband inspect the replacement which also had heavy carbon deposits, but they were able to demonstrate the engine did turn over. We brought the replacement engine home and installed. After much work and installing another engine, this engine is crap also. It does turn over, we might get a couple hundred miles out of it, hopefully. For $1600, really you expect something that would get you alot further than that. Again, what we were supposed to get was a low mileage engine. What we got was a high mileage engine on it's last leg. We will be reporting this company to the California Consumer Protection agency as well as the county and city. This company is in the business of ripping people off. We didn't do our homework prior to patronizing this business, I wish we did! I hope this review saves someone the money, time, and headache. I'm for certain that Joe will respond to this review in a negative way. That would be another RED FLAG!
