I had a frustrating experience at O'Reilly Auto Parts…read more I came in for a simple purchase, a car fuse, and found myself about 15 people deep in line. Several customers ahead were engaged in longer part consultations at the counter, which slowed everything down. I asked a team member if there was a separate line for quick, over the counter purchases. I was directed to the same line, with no alternative option. Key issues: No separation between quick purchases and detailed consultations Long wait times for simple transactions Inefficient use of staff during peak demand There were at least 4 to 5 customers ahead of me making quick purchases, yet all were stuck waiting behind lengthy consultations. This created unnecessary delays. If the goal is to improve in store sales and customer experience, consider: Assigning one staff member to handle quick purchases Creating a separate line for simple transactions Managing consultation flow more efficiently This process needs improvement. Walked out and left the fuse behind. I made my purchase on Amazon for a lot less with overnight delivery.

I called two places before I checked Yelp. Higgins was rated very high. Phillip, over the phone explained the whole process and he was very patient with me. The other two yards I called first were actually mean and wouldn't explain anything. He agreed to go all the way to Tehachapi to tow my car. There was paperwork needed, and he mailed me what I needed to sign. He was exactly what I needed. If you're ever in the predicament I was in, call Higgins first, you'll be glad you did.

This was the worst experience I've had at *any * dealership…read more As an out of town traveler, they didn't have the courtesy, or class, denoting a Mercedes dealership, to provide a Lyft to a hotel that was literally about 2 miles down the road (as this was an overnight repair). Even the Lyft driver was shocked that I had to order the vehicle myself, as all the other dealerships have the decency to get one for the customer. I don't foresee the need to ever return to that dealership, and if I were to breakdown in Bakersfield again, I'd rather contact another automotive shop.
