I stopped by…read moreto check my Audi as the engine light turned on, the older lady (not gonna mention names out of respect even though they don't deserve it) asked for my ID and hand me the device, literally less than 5 min later while in my car with the device connected and waiting for it to read an older man stepping out not even wearing a shirt indicating that he works there yelling at me that there're other people waiting for it, I asked for a couple of more minutes and never the less as soon as he walked in the lady is walking out with my ID screaming at me that they "know what I'm doing" and it's illegal to erase codes (I don't even know how to do it but I guess it's an on going thing) throwing my ID at me and very violently pulling and disconnecting the cord out of my vehicle that got wrapped around my leg and literally physically hurt me. I was in shock of course for a few seconds sitting in my car, then I called the headquarters main office to report the horrific incident. I got a call back a few hours later from a nice young man that apologized and explained that the lady just had a bad day as her cat died and that she will contact me to apologize. I'm still waiting on that call and of course no compensation was provided either. I'm So disappointed as it was my neighborhood auto parts store I was shopping at all the time and obviously will not go back there again and will probably just shop at Auto zone. PS after the event, out of curiosity I also checked on Google what is it all about and apparently it's totally normal and definitely not illegal, almost every business offers the service and you can even buy a very cheap device online to do it yourself which I probably should've done, regardless violence is never the solution

That said, I've been getting my Mercedes serviced there since 2002 and overall I'm happy with the service. No, they aren't the fastest but they know Mercedes and I've seen $500K classics in the shop. An owner of one of the classics doesn't take his car to an unreputable shop. They just finished my GLE63S and it looks pristine. All the cars below were serviced by Star European.

Hoping to exchange my wipers, I discover I didnt have my receipt. Muttering to myself " oh crap!" I run into Matt a pleasant young guy, who asks me whats wrong? I told him.. my dumbass thought I had receipts for these wipers.... but apparently left them at home. He smiles and motions me over to the register. Just like Dale used to: he looks up my transactions with a smile and takes care of me with air of wanting to help make my day better. I said would be too much to swap out the new wipers with the old? Matt says: no problem at all. A short while later I was on my way. After my discussion about wipers, I mentioned in the beginning about my wifes car which needed wipers replaced. Matt says: Cmon in when you want those wipers replaced. I went in the next day. Saw Matt and he took care of me again. Great guy! Im in good hands! As a bonus, Dale happened to be there as a it was a Saturday, he works occasionally. He recognized me. Its been a couple of years since I saw him. We caught up for a bit . Nice to see that people care about you as a consumer and acquaintance. They are good men . Go see them . They'll help you out.

I forget the guy's name, but he was pretty knowledgeable and got me my parts and give me some other ideas on what to check on my truck. These guys aren't magicians, not sure why you'd expect them to fix your car too... Been coming here for several months now and will continue to stop by for my parts.

Moreover, the dealership finance department held my large deposit check for several weeks, hoping that it would bounce. I had to call the manager and tell him to process the check. My salesperson was wonderful but the rest of them are not. I don't recommend FOX GMC.

Friendly front desk guy, Stephen. i moved away and I still came here (30 min travel) because finding a honest and detail-oriented mechanic can be hard. I don't know what happened this time around. I came for an oil change, and there's a rattling under my car that I want investigated and Stephen is aware that my exhaust has been rusting and I have been here to weld it back together before. I made sure the welder was there when I dropped it off. 1. I dropped off my car , they kept it over the weekend, when I picked it up on Monday, there were deep scratches in my driver door frame, like someone tried to pry it open. The shop does NOT have cameras facing your cars that is in their possession, in their private lot. They don't take responsibility for anything that happens to your car. Don't even have cameras just so I can file an insurance claim (should be bare minimum, but owner only has camera facing their door so someone doesn't break into their shop, your car in their lot is fair game). 2. Welder fixed the rattling (a heat shield rusting), but completely disregarded my tailpipe that was rusting off. (but they told me something that they noticed that I didn't ask initially know about -- I had a bad wheel bearing, which they called me to notify me and I ok'ed them to fix immediately, so idk why they didn't care or notice that my tail pipe was holding by a thread). My tail pipe literally fell off on the highway on Monday , right after I picked up my car to drive home. They offered to fix it for me but obviously I gotta pay to get it fixed. At bare minimum, I should've been told that this can come off (as an average car owner that doesn't have a lift, the shop should've seen that easily when investigating the heat shield) and a literal danger to the road. Luckily it didn't hit anyone on the highway. I decided to go to a different shop to put in a new tailpipe for $80.
