I called to report that the shipping address I entered didn't take & that the system was trying to ship to my billing address. He said there was no way to change it then the next thing I know HE CANCELLED MY ORDER?! WTF??!! I need this part for my vehicle. His answer was, "Well I thought you didn't want it anymore. Our daughter's headlights went out during a stressful time this semester. She went to this location of Autozone early on a Sunday morning, worried it was something big like the alternator or battery. They discovered it was only the light bulbs. To her relief, they changed the bulbs quickly and she was on her way. The employees were so helpful, professional and a blessing to have locally, being she's an out of state student. We're in town this weekend for the huge on campus event she heads up. This morning we stopped by this Autozone with a box of donuts as a small gesture of our appreciation. Thanks for putting our minds at ease. Keep up the great work! read more

I needed a new battery and the person working said because they only had two staff members he didn't have time to install it. I counted 5 staff members and 3 of those including the guy that supposedly didn't have time took breaks outside while my husband had to change it himself. Officially has my business over Advance Auto Parts - thanks to Alisha! My girlfriend's car had to be jumped off 3 times in a day and we had gone to Advance at 11am on a Friday to get it tested where the extremely rude employee told us he couldn't do that in the rain (it was slightly drizzling that morning). Called Autozone, Alisha answered, and was extremely nice and friendly. She thought I was joking about the Advance guy and told me to come in and she'd take care of us right away. She came out in the rain, tested the battery and presented us with all of our options for batteries (all of which averaged about $30 cheaper than Advance). After purchasing it, Alisha installed it herself (in the rain!) and added anti-corrosion caps and lube to the leads to the new battery to help it last longer. Can't say enough about how helpful Alisha was or quick and painless she made the process, thanks Autozone! read more

I am a first-year UGA student from Texas. I would like to think that I have sufficient knowledge of cars (especially my car which has been in my family since 2009) for a 18-year-old girl that drove from Texas to Georgia five months ago. When my tire light came on, I checked all of my tires with a pressure pen, realized that one was significantly lower than the others, I went to a local gas station and filled up all 4 tires to 30 psi (the psi that was labeled on the sticker on my driver's door). After filing them up, my tire light was still on and I saw a AutoZone store near me. I knew walking into the store that It is only a retail store, but I thought that maybe the employees could give me an answer. A man came out to help me (after rudely correcting his co-worker) and told me to turn my car on. He then told me, "yep. that is the tire light." as if I needed his validation for what the tire light on MY car looked like. Then he asked me, "where did you find the information to know how much psi your tires needed?". I then proceeded to point to the sticker on the inside of the door and he said, "Oh no no no no no no". ---my actual pet peeve (telling me I am wrong but not telling me why). So I proceeded to ask, "what is the problem?" He then led me to believe that I should be following the number that is imprinted on my actual tire. This made sense to me until he told me that the psi that my tires needed was indeed 45 psi. After researching many websites for the average psi for an average mid-size car tire, and speaking to my father, "45 psi is simply too high 99% of the time" to quote "cdelena"on city-data.com. If you were wondering, my problem has been solved but definitely not by the AutoZone in Athens, Georgia, or any AutoZone in America. Thank you. read more

There's two accounts of my personal experience of coming to this particular autozone. 1. I came in here with my mom and the employee sells me a high beam headlight bulb . He attempts to install the lightbulb. I don't know if it's the lack of effort but he tells my mom that he can't position it and to get my dad to fix it instead. He proceeds to tell me the same thing. That's where it struck me the wrong way. The employee just assumes from my ethic background that I'm very family oriented or even have a father. But he doesn't know anything about me but the fact that I came here for a headlight. So my mom and I leave to go to a mechanic. The mechanic told us that the employee sold us the WRONG lightbulb. So we went back and talked to the manager. He reimburse us with a free and correct lightbulb. He even install it properly. The manager was so nice 2. recently I came in to purchase a low beam bulb. The sale associate helped me and I was waiting on him to install it. Unfortunately the same employee from last time told me that he could help. I hesitated but he lowkey insisted. he did install it and it work. The following night, my low beam bulb didn't turn on! Idk but something is off about the employee or the whole ordeal. But all in all, I just don't want to risk a citation read more
