I stopped in and although they were very busy they gave me 20-30 minutes of their time to look over the car and diagnose the issue. They wouldn't even accept any money for the diagnosis. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE...... If you take your car in for anything GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE AND HOLD HIM TO IT, NOT VERBAL, WRITTEN. And than keep your fingers crossed and good luck. I took my car in because it was overheating and left it so he could give me a quote. He called me back and said I needed a new radiator and hoses, it would cost $450 and be ready tomorrow. Well it wasn't ready the next day, or the next day and on the third day I called at the end of the day and he said it was almost ready and I could wait. Well it took several hours and when it was done he handed me a bill for over $800.......$800 on a estimate of $450, no phone call, no nothing........What a ripe off this place is........ read more

Horrible and untruthful. Autoville = Autohell. Autoville took over six weeks to repair my car. I had a blown head gasket but was not ready to get rid of my car. A head gasket is not a tiny fix, and I would have understood if they had taken two weeks, or even three weeks on this. They took a month and half. And they barely ever called me. After four weeks -- a full month of having to get rides from friends, and being stranded at my home -- I called them and the young man who answered the phone said, "I have to be honest, we haven't started work on your car." My jaw dropped. I had been told that they had performed diagnostics and had started work, but I had not been given specifics. I sure wish they'd been "honest" before. I am self-employed and do house calls. Being out of a car meant that I had been losing out on a lot of income. Before that, I had been as polite as sugar to them, calling them once each week to ask about my car. But after that, it wasn't so easy to be nice. Dear god, I was angry. When I had taken the car in, I was not given a quote. I had to swing by (with my friend waiting in his car) after two weeks just to get a proper quote and order ticket. They quoted me $780, saying it was the cost of a head gasket replacement. In the end, it was actually $1400. I managed to talk them down $200 -- the first and only time I have ever haggled in my life -- on account of their taking a full month of leaving my car sitting neglected in their parking lot. During multiple conversations, when I called them (they only ever called me twice in six weeks), they said that my job was taking a long time because it was "unusual." I asked them what about the job was unusual. They referred to some rusty bolts they had had to remove. Now I have done plenty of work on plenty of cars, and removing rusty bolts is as common as dirt. At one point, they also had said that they could get replacement parts in a matter of days from a nearby supplier in Roanoke. Gosh, I wondered, why had it taken six weeks to repair my car when you can get the correct parts within a matter of days. That was eight months ago. Since their repair, my car has been running fine. So I'll give them one star for at least getting the new head gasket on properly. But now I have to have some more work done on my headlight wiring. I will take my car anywhere, but not back to Autohell. read more

First estimate, $600. After the van was half disassembled and unable to be moved, $1100. Then when we went to pick it up, close to $1800. Lots of excuses about why the huge discrepancy. Incompetent, dishonest, or perhaps both? Don't bring your car here. read more

I have taken my car to this shop it was the biggest mistake ever!!!! The only things i asked is to make my car stop squealing as well as see why it is hard to start and to balance the ties ans get the check engine light off!!!i gave them 2 days with my car to have found out that they were too busy to balance my tires.They also said they couldnt do everything i needed but instead when i waited for the car they were sitting on there butts they said they have been working on there own personal race cars in the bay thats why my car couldnt get its tires balance.Then the check engine light never went off which is what they were suppost to do and as soon as my husband cleaned the throttle body which they said they did but it wasnt cleaned so my husband cleaned it and now the check engine light is off when we called to speak with chris the manger of the shop he hung up on my husband as well as when we reached him finally he said no refunds and i wont fix anything or give ur money back he charged me for a batter terminal $30 which the part is less then $5 then charged me $60 for cleaning the throttle body which they didnt clean at all the only thing they fixed was the ac belt they also blew 4 fuses in my car and unhooked my speaker and amp all togwther they charged me $188.00 and were rude and no help to me at all .IF U WANT UR CAR FIXED RIGHT AND ACTUALLY HAVE THEM DO THE WORK ON THE CAR AND NOT CHARGE U AN ARM AND A LEG DDDOOOOOO NNNOOOT TAKE UR CAR TRUCK OR ANY VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP U WILL BE SCAMMED AND HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE MORE MONEY TO FIX UR CAR!!!!!THANKS FOR NOTHING STUPID AUTOVILLE read more

There is not a shop better in Floyd. They are the only one I take my car to have repaired. The service is fast and the employees courtesy and well trained. These people gave a certain time my vehicle was supposed to be done. Two days went by and the vehicle was supposed to be done, he calls and tells us it will be done the following day. We called to pick it up he tells us it now won't be done til Thursday, 2 days after it was supposed to be done. We go to pick up my vehicle he has it up on the lift. Tells us hee doesn't have my 4 wheel drive shaft in that was supposed to be in Tuesday. Tells us hee will have it Friday. Friday at 2 he tells us it will be done at 4. 4 oclock comes around we go there, he says he doesnt have my 4 wheel drive shaft still and my ac is messed up. He said he would have my 4 wheel drive shaft in the shop in a week, this is the third week and he finally got the parts in and finished it. He lied about the time it was supposed to be done. Wont look you in the eyes most times when talking to you. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. read more
