Honest and knowledgeable, but expensive. Do you want someone you trust to work on your car, to do the job correctly and only do the work that's required without trying to talk you into unnecessary repairs? Then come to AutoSpeed. I've had them do everything from simple maintenance to taking the car apart to fix a roof leak, replacing a broken panoramic sun-shade, and installing a backup camera on my VW JSW integrated into my OEM radio/nav. They'll be more expensive than a chain shop, but you'll know that the work will be done well and that they won't recommend something unless you actually need it. As an example, I recently went to Pep Boys to put new tires on my car - I needed new tires in a hurry, and Pep Boys were open on the weekend. I figured it was a simple thing, so how bad could it be? Well, Pep Boys tried to add on an alignment that I didn't ask for, called to say that I needed new breaks and rotors, and overcharged me for the tire install (I got it resolved, but it took a pretty long time). Oh, and when I got the car back, I noticed that the tire sidewalls were completely coated in the grease they use for putting on the tires, and later discovered that the tires were all over-inflated and inflated to 3 different PSIs across 4 tires, with an 8 PSI difference between the lowest and highest. I then took my car to AutoSpeed for an alignment, since I trust them to do it right, and also asked about the breaks and rotors. The tech called me back to tell me that my breaks and rotors are fine - there's some rust on the rotors, but nothing that would necessitate replacing them, and something I could fix myself with a few emergency style stops on an empty highway. read more

Owned 7 Audis starting with the first A4 in 1998. High mileage user. Current 2011 was in need of TLC. After an oil change, discussed history with Dan. Clear, direct, understandable and ready to work with me. We cleaned up the engine (something the dealers do with a can of solvent). Rough idle cleared up. How to keep it that way? Replace the factory computer settings with a "level 1" tune up. For a high mileage car, that was a new lease on life and vastly improved performance. All still within proper operating parameters. Higher performance, better gas mileage, and knowledge that the engine is running better than with the "one size fits all" factory settings. Well worth the time and effort. My next Audi will start its maintenance with Autospeed as long as I am within driving distance of the Voorhees shop! Very happy to have found a team of professionals. read more

My rear window's motor went out on me, so I called Autospeed to see if they could fix it. They took me the next day, but didn't have the part to fix it properly. They said it would be another day, or I could get it fixed that day with a cheap replacement part that would blow out in a few months. I decided to wait the extra day. I greatly appreciated their honesty, and the fact that they propped my broken window up as best as it could possibly be propped so no rain or morning dew got in the car overnight. Also, since I was a new customer, they checked the car out from top to bottom, and only reported minor issues that I already knew about (their honesty again). Finally, when the bill came in, they were far cheaper than national chain auto repair places I've been to in the past. read more

Very professional. I have brought my Audi S4 here twice so far and am very pleased with the service. The first time (about 3-4 months ago) I had a stage one tune flashed. This custom flash created by Autospeed instantly brought my car to life adding a significant amount of power with no hardware changes. I had such a good experience the first time I decided to bring it back for some general maintenance. I had my timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gaskets and crank seals replaced. I have driven it for a couple of days now and am extremely happy with it so far. I eventually plan to bring my car back for many more performance upgrades including K04 turbo chargers, Autospeed exhaust, and bigger intercoolers. I would highly recommend Autospeed to anyone. read more

Autospeed specializes in VW and Audi vehicles, so I entrusted them to repair leaky cylinder head seals and several other gaskets on my 93,000 mile 2004 Audi S4. These guys tear into Audi engines all the time , so I was confident they could repair this rather easy fix (for them) without worry at a reasonable cost. Because they also provide maintenance services per Audi guidelines, they noticed I needed rear disc brake pads and rotors. So, I made another appointment to have that work done as well. Both jobs were completed within the time specified, at reasonable cost, using Audi-spec parts, and I am one very happy customer. Dan, the Service Manager, was great to work with. He will be seeing me again the next time my S4 needs any type of service! read more

I recently visited Autospeed for maintenance on my Volkswagen GLI, and I was beyond impressed! The place is impeccably clean and spacious, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere. The staff's knowledge is outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the technicians exhibited a deep understanding of their craft. Bobby took the time to explain all issues thoroughly, providing detailed insights into the necessary repairs. What sets them apart is their honesty. No hidden fees or unnecessary upsells - just transparent communication on repairs and costs. I highly recommend Autospeed for a reliable, clean, and trustworthy auto repair experience. I'll definitely be returning for future needs, confident in their capable and honest service. read more

I took my Jeep there for service after two other places tried and failed to resolve my problem, one of the places being a Jeep dealership. Autospeed diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. Dan was very professional and explained in detail everything that needed to be done. This shop goes the extra mile to make sure your car is running right the first time. My two other family members have brought in their VW and Audi for service and have both experienced similar satisfaction. I definitely recommend this shop. read more
