Asked them to also check out a squeaking noise that I had been told previously may be very expensive to fix. The oil change was done quickly and for $30 cheaper than other places. The squeaking noise was just a ball joint that had to be greased; which they took care of and didn't charge me for! I should have left and went to a different store to complete all the work, however I did not. I did go to Wal-Mart and they did the tire balance for my car. So much for bald and unsafe tires... Consumers should be aware that the responses you see from Firestone on reviews may give the impression that they are actively working to resolve issues, but that has not been my experience.
