Thanks to Scott for being exceptionally well priced compared to other competitors…read more I recently brought my car into a local Dealership in Hamilton, they informed me the nuts on my tires were too tight and for them to remove the nuts and replace them it would cost $10/per nut. Scott charges me $1.50/per nut. Thanks again Scott

Worst experience ever with mechanics. Started out ok. Was getting an engine put in my daughters…read morecar. got no communication for days and when we finally called them and they actually answered they said the engine they got was damaged and had to wait for another one. Got two different stories on what was wrong g with first engine. Then no communication again for days. Again when we finally got through they gave us a run around of what was happening. Basically just placing blame on other people but themselves. And whoever I was talking to threatened me. Then told my daughter I wasn't allowed to call anymore. So I called head office to let them know what was going on and they got pissed off cause I called head office on them. Had my daughter's car for over three weeks. In all that time they called us once. All other communication was us calling them. So much more that went wrong but all and all I would never use this place again.so an update. My daughter has only had the car for a few hours and it's already breaking down. Totally Incompetent mechanics.another update. So they took the car back to look at it and said it's probably the intake manifold which is the warning on my computer that said was the problem. So they finally fixed that. Regional manager Bill was very accommodating and payed for our rental car during this process. But that does not excuse the fact that I don't think we needed a new engine after all. And they refuse to give me any information about where they bought the engine from so I can research it.pretty sure that's why they don't want me to call the place where they got the engine from. They know they messed up and are keeping information from us. Terrible place to bring your call. And if you look on their website, not a single testimonial for the st Catharine's location. Figures.

Gave a list of other items they say they found while doing an unauthorized assessment of my vehicle. I have used it at Boyd Automotive a few times and Sandra (service advisor) said it was one of the best and easy to work with companies. After my last claim Mr Brownlee (service supervisor) told me if I have anymore service necessary that I would have to go to the Subaru dealer. He said Boyd Auto would no longer deal with extended warranties. Is this a new company policy? I emailed Stu Boyd (owner) and did not receive a reply. I have been going to Boyd Auto since 2003 and now must leave to a full service garage.

He told me I could leave it in the garage to thaw but he'd have to charge me for it. He didn't even look at my car. He didnt even say hello when I walked and and seemed put out I was even inquiring. This guy was the douchiest person I've ever encountered in a garage. Stay far away unless you want to be lied to and ripped off.

Ignorant, rude and unprofessional. This shop did an oil change for me…read more Next time I needed an oil change I stopped into a different shop and the first question they asked was, "Who did the last oil change? The drain plug is stripped and it is not an inexpensive fix. I suggest you go back and see if they will take care of you." Upon my return after explaining my situation, not only was the owner rude and shouting from his office desk, he refused to even look at my vehicle saying, "How do I know that I was the last shop to work on it? You have 24 hours to complain after a job..." Looks like my 25 dollar oil change is going to cost me a new 800 dollar oil pan change. I was more than a little upset when leaving. Integrity matters and I feel this guy has very little.
