I scheduled an oil change online. I feel this is very convenient and the price seemed reasonable for my car. It's a Mercedes Benz AMG GTs. I normally change my own oil on my past AMG. However I am not equipped to do this model. So I took a chance. I did a lot of research as to what it takes to do this task. The technician, Francesco Taylor was on time and well mannered and polite. This was his first time doing this model vehicle so I gave him some information. He called his company support to verify information. And they provided him with inaccurate information. He knew right away and did some research that enabled him to do the task as per manufacturer procedures. He took his time and was very careful to do the job accurately. My Google review was resulted in a leave a typical bot canned response saying to call their number and they will resolve the problem but you call the number and they just don't want to talk with you. I don't let someone come to my car and do an oil change and I don't want to schedule an appointment and then be charged for a visit. Nearly $700 wasted and the car is in worse condition! The technicians are unprofessional and the customer service was far below average! They ruined a birthday gift, and soiled the holiday season. I purchased a front/rear brake pad service on Dec 5th, as a birthday gift to my girlfriend. The brakes were squeeking loud and in need of repair. The first technician came out and ran diagnostics. He said everything looked great and we only needed to do the brake pads. Once he left, we took the car out for errands. An even louder and more aggressive screeching started! We immediately called back Autonation Mobile Service / Repair Smith. They scheduled a same day appointment, in which they cancelled. They proceeded to cancel again for two more days, until finally arriving Friday the 8th. The new technician gets in the car and "claims" he can't hear the VERY LOUD SCREECHING. - He literally lies to my face and proceeds to troll us like it's a game. The entire WORLD can hear the screeching, aside from him of course! - After I called him out, he continued to lie and says he could hear the belt winding, but not the very LOUD brake screeching. He spewed some more nonsense, and then suggested we purchase a rotor service from them! Told him to leave and proceeded to file a complaint with the company. This was an absolutely insane experience. I needed a serpentine belt changed in my VW and an oil change. I did a google search for these services and RepairSmith showed up. I did an estimate of the price and wow, half the price of my local repair shop and a quarter of the price of the dealer for the belt change. The oil change was a little pricey but saving time is worth money. I was able to keep working and making money the whole time the mechanic was at my home. I made the request at around 6 in the morning, LEO (super nice guy) showed up at 8:30 and was done by 9:30. I will be using these guys when I can from now on here in Miami, FL. read more

Scheduled diagnostic appointment even though I suspected it was the starter. The windows are 5 hours long and they moved my initial window to the afternoon so I spent the whole day waiting for someone to come confirm the issue. Arrived the next day and completed the service. I went out to start the car 10 minutes after they left and the car would not start. Called the tech back and the stated they couldn't return until 3 days later but would be back because they suspected the battery was very low charge at the time of repair. I called day of to confirm that the new appointment was scheduled and the rep on the phone saw no notes or new appointment. This is a good service if you have no other options. However I was going to pay twice as much for the replacement of my power steering pump. They were just about double the price as quoted. If you are not mobile for some reason them might be worth it. I just couldn't see spending double for an on site repair. That being said I don't mind paying some extra for this type of service if it's reasonable and it was not to me at least this time. We travel full time and if I was broke down on the side of the road I would have payed it.... I gave them three stars because they responded very quickly and was one of the only places to actually provide an up front estimate on what I told them was the problem. A few weeks ago I was driving my VW Jetta when my check engine light suddenly came on and started flashing. I knew from past experience to park my car immediately when I got home and to not drive it. I also knew my car needed an engine diagnostic. Since I did not want to drive it to the nearest mechanic I Googled for a mobile mechanic servie. I compared prices for an engine diagnostic and chose Repair Smith. I promptly set up an appointment. I knew in advance that my appointment duration would be an hour and 15 minutes. I received a phone call advising me the technician was available to come a half an hour earlier than my scheduled time slot. Two very professional mechanics promptly arrived. Their names were Marcos and Jonathan. They explained to me how they would diagnose the vehicle and check the engine code. I was advised that I had a bad coil and a bad spark plug. I was also advised that I had two repair options. The first would be to just replace the bad coil and the bad spark plug ( if I'm selling the car). Or I could change the coil and all five spark plugs if I was planning to keep the car. As I am relocating out of state and selling the car I chose the first repair option. They left temporarily to go purchase the parts needed at a local parts store. I paid a total of $521.81. This included the diagnostic, the parts and labor. The repair was well worth it and they provided excellent customer service. This is my first time ever using a mobile mechanic service and I give them a five-star rating as I'm 100% satisfied. read more

Get this, based on what the customer (non mechanic) asks to be replaced that's what they do. They don't consider other reasons why your car is overheating, the mechanics just replace the thermostat, take your money and say see ya later. So, 3 days later I see the exact same issue of the car overheating. Another tech comes out and correctly diagnosed a blown head gasket. I take my car to a full service repair shop and they also confirm a blown head gasket. So you would think that RepairSmith would credit me back the $425 for the perfectly good thermostat and charge me for the 2nd visit and diagnostic of $210. NOPE, apparently it's my fault because I said I THOUGHT it was a thermostat issue and the mechanic is going on my assumption and not required to diagnose the car further unless I ASK for and pay a diagnostic fee. I had just recently bought a car from carvana and as soon as I leave the pick up site, I hear a noise and feel something dragging under my new BMW 430i. I pull over and just as I thought the under guard and side panels were dragging. The previous owner must've not put the bumper back in correctly as almost all the bolts and clips were missing.
