I, however did not need a recommendation, because I have been taking my cars to Bobby Shaw for the last 7 years. He has always over communicated... Calling to ask me if I wanted the cheap, mid level or best part to replace the failed part... I love that he gives me the choice. I know in advance what my bill is going to be, and he always calls if he finds something out of place that may need my attention in the future. Like today... He replaced the fuel pump and the alternator... But when he had it on the rack... He noticed that the outside tie-rod was about to fall off... So he called, knowing in was tight on my finances, he offered me some options. I NEVER write reviews... But today... You can't seem to stop me... I'm so impressed, yet again, with the service, that I'm blasting the sites with happy reviews! Please, if you value your time and money... Go to an honest service station like Shaw's Tire and Auto!

Said their system kept 'glitching' out so just decided to charge my ac even though it didn't need it. Then said I needed a new blower motor. Charged me over $200 for what turned out to be a totally wrong diagnosis. Went to Don Aadsen Ford and they did a physical inspection -- now there's a thought -- and saw that the cabin air filter was chewed. Used a camera to find a dead mouse lodged inside causing the whirring noise. Their entire repair was less than K-O's incorrect diagnosis. Went back to K-O to let them know, thinking they might realize their error and want to refund me at least a little. Nope. Held strong to their incorrect diagnosis and said the blower motor would die on me -- which it has not, everything is working just fine. Wish I'd never gone here.

The truck runs great minus a small stutter under acceleration. They recommended scrapping the truck and buying a new one. I spoke to Josh by phone and he invited me to bring the car in as soon as I arrived in town. By the time I got there, he had all the paperwork he needed from the insurance company and he simply had to inspect the car and provide the estimate. He was knowledgeable and pleasant and thorough in all he did. I needed a rental car while they worked on mine and he made all the necessary arrangements for that. When I picked up my car yesterday, not only was the repair perfectly done, but both the inside and the outside of the car were clean as a whistle. I would recommend this shop without any reservation.
