I really wanted to love this spot because it's run by a veteran but I've been here twice and I just can't recommend them. I came around 2 years ago and when I got my car back there were tools left in my car, my speakers were disconnected somehow (didn't get speaker work done), there was SO much grease and dirty water or spray for the tint inside, one side of my backseat panels looked like it didn't get put back in right, there were bubbles in the tint. I returned the tools and was told to wait and the bubbles would go away, but they never did. Fast forward and the bubbles got worse, along with the back window tint completely peeling up, I reached out a few months ago and they said they'd fix it for free. They give me a day to come in only to tell me they actually don't have the tint I need -____- I have to come back and don't get a call for hours. I had to call more than once to get an update on my car being finished. I get there and the back window is already peeling up, there's grease marks all over the inside of my car, and both my back panels are popped out. I asked them to fix it and they try but after standing in the sun for over an hour, they say they can't fix it. Okay so you messed up my car?? I was already mad for waiting so long and just reached out to the company over the next few days only to not get a response until I reached out multiple times (via yelp and telephone). The owner texts me saying they'll clean the inside of my car but I tell him I already booked a car detail somewhere else. I asked if they could pay for my detail instead because I don't trust their company right now anyways and he says they would just clean the inside and he'll look at my car himself. That's what he said the last 2 times I went in and so I just cut my losses and paid to get my car cleaned elsewhere since I wasn't able to get the grease out. My tint is still peeled up in the back and when it gets worse I'm just going to go somewhere else. The pictures are after I tried cleaning the grease and pushing the panel down myself, and 1 of them taking the panel off again but it didn't work.

I highly recommend them. They did such an amazing job on my son's truck windows for his birthday. Affordable prices and quick efficient service. I will be back for my car to be done as well and be recommending my friends and family.

Just got my '21 f150 done. This wasn't my normal tint shop but I had friends that recommended them, so I gave them a shot. First off, email response was quick and the quoted price was much less than my other place. Secondly, I showed up for my appointment and and in less than 1 hr I was back in my truck. Each person I talked to was courteous and professional. So far my initial impression is a good one. I don't foresee any issues long term.

This business came highly recommended from a friend at work... I had no real expectation but when I requested for quote through Yelp the response was quick and the owner was able to book my appointment at the same time. When I arrived at my appointment I had a little trouble finding the business but as I was driving, the owner Chad noticed my vehicle and called me immediately to let me know exactly where he was. Service was awesome, quick install of the window tint and I paid as quoted. No surprises. Chad is a stand up guy and explains the process and warranty thoroughly. Love this place! Chad was awesome and quick to respond and answer all my questions. The tint looks great. It's hot out and my car is definitely cooler...and cooler . Only reason I dropped a star is that when they were done, whatever liquid they used when applying was dripping down the outside of my car and in my interior. I'm obviously very ignorant to window tinting as I have never done it before, but I asked a friend who recently has his done elsewhere and he mentioned that he didn't have any streaks inside or out. But that's cool cuz they said I can go pay for a car wash to clean it up. Kinda weird that I had to do it but whatevs. read more

Chad is a professional and a great guy. I was looking to get my Honda Civic Hatchback Sport tinted and Chad was quick to respond and very professional throughout the whole process. I requested a quote one day and was getting my car tinted the next day. I dropped off my vehicle and the process took about 2hrs maybe a little less from start to finish. Definitely 100% satisfied with my car! I got my windows tinted here. My brother loved them so much, the very next day chad was able to tint his car too! It looks amazing. I had a appointment with Chad* at 4 pm. He did my tints for my front windows so quick. He was very polite and informative on the tints. I definitely will recommend him to my friends and try to bring him more customers. Chad also does vinyl work and car wrapping. So I'll definitely be going back to get that done when I have enough. Chad's business stood apart from the other businesses because 1.) he was one of the first businesses to respond with a quote 2.) he blew the doors off of the other businesses whomever did respond... he had the least expensive price (30% to 50% cheaper than some!!) He was very personable, intelligent, and polite. He had a clean shop and a comfortable waiting area (I believe he had coffee and mini-Snicker bars as refreshments)... even the bathroom was neat. I can report that the entire experience was quick and positive. He did a great job on the small amount of tint I had applied to my right rear quarter window... I will return to have the rest of the windows, the front three, done soon! I've already referred him two more people whom will need tinting as well. read more

I took my car a month ago to Chad to get a spoiler installed on my Sentra. All of the other places charged $160 and told me it would take 2 hours to drill it and install it. Chad did it within an hour and it was $80. He did a great job installing a wing on my car. If I ever need another spoiler installation I'd go to him. read more

It's our first time having a car tinted because of our new baby and Chad patiently explained to us everything we're supposed to know, we settled with 40 for the front windows and 28 for the rest. We went to Starbucks which is 3 blocks away and after an hour and a half, our car is ready! His work is flawless alright, 10/10 and the aftercare instructions were thoroughly explained. We paid $500 to tint the top window of the Model Y, I bet you they didn't do that and if they did, it was a poor job. We ended up paying a little over 2 grand. I only went with them because the suggestion, cheaper price then Digi Sports, and close to my buddy house to wait until the job was done. I've contacted him 1-3 months after the work was done, he mentioned that you have to allow the sun to blend it in; it never did. I called again 6-9 months later, he told me to bring it in, but it's not close to Rancho Penasquito; so it wasn't convenient to drop off and get a ride. All I have to say is, they did a poor job and customer service is not all there. I think he might of practice on my car to try to get better later on.

Initially I requested to be quoted on yelp, no response for a good amount of hours which isn't a big deal since I just decided to call and was able to get my quote quickly over the phone. We were able to set up an appointment and he actually set it at 8:15am because I asked for it to be done soon because of work and he had another client after when he's usually at least I've seen open at 9am which I can appreciate. When I came to the appointment there was a positive and a negative, the positive is he helped me decide on the right tint 5% on back 45 % on front 2 and 70% windshield CXP but there was a spontaneous 60$ increase to my price from 700 to 760$ due to him running out of the tint i was initially going for and switching to CXP which at first I was skeptical but I think the result was worth it and it comes with a *limited* life time warranty. Overall 2 hiccups, it's not a big operation & the guy who helped was very polite and explained things very openly which I can also appreciate, I'm happy with my experience and result and I would definitely recommend this place to the people I know as well as any person reading.

Excellent work at a competitive price. Chad was amazing with scheduling my tint, providing directions to the place, and finishing the job quickly. He was very polite and even took the time to explain some defects with my window and the cause. (I had body work and there was metal melted into my window glass). He helped me choose the right level of tint for my family, and to meet legal requirements. I went with a limo tint and he warned me that visibility at night might be affected. It isn't recommended to go that dark if you don't have a back up camera. He finished quickly and the tint was perfect. I waited a week to write the review to make sure it stayed good through the drying process. I will be sending all my friends to him if they want tint, and will use him for future tint needs as well. read more

Well it looks like I found go to tint guy. My guy Chad at Automotive Image deserves all 5 of these stars. Let me break down each star for the yelpers. 1st star is for affordable pricing. One word, cheap. Don't get it twisted though the only thing cheap about Chad's service is his pricing. 2nd star is for the fast turnaround. Let me paint the picture. I arrived at 10:30am, was out of there by 12:15, with 7 windows on my car tinted beautifully. 3rd star is for the quality tint that he uses. Solar Gard is back by an excellent life time warranty. 4th and 5th star is for being such an awesome ******* guy. Great service I will definitely be recommending my friends and family to Chad. I have been searching everywhere for a reasonably priced window tinting company in the area and was unable to find one until I head of Automotive Image. Their price are unbelievable and the quality of work is phenomenal. My 2007 Kia looks brand new again! Not only do they use top of the line product, Solar guard, but it's back by a lifetime warranty and I walked out with the warranty card, I'm safe from fading, cracking,bubbling,etc. Now I know I'm good!!!
