We had a car with a frozen differential in Los Alamos and needed to put it on a flatbed trailer…read more AAA couldn't help us because the didn't have a lift two truck, so they referred us to a couple of other companies, that also couldn't help us, but one of them gave us Mino & Greg's Automotive's names, but didn't know the number. When I called them, they were willing to help and called a driver, Louise, who came up, sized up the situation, and used the lifting the back of his flatbed to left the rear of the 67 Mustang and then backed it up onto the flatbed and centered it perfectly. He was a real pro and really saved our bacon. I strongly recommend these folks. They will help you even when everyone else turns you down.

While traveling through the area my Jeep ABS, skid, and ESP lights came on. I had the code checked…read moreby another mechanic who read the code; left rear wheel sensor. I ordered the part and tried replacing it myself but the old sensor would not pull out. I called the shop and they were able to squeeze me in despite having a full workload. Within 30 minutes they had the tire and brake calipers off and exposed that the sensor had melted (which is why I couldn't pull it out). Wonderful service and friendly.

To be clear, this charge was overwhelmingly for labor, since I supplied the battery. I understand labor rates are high in this area, and I did not negotiate pricing beforehand. But $400+ for an oil change and a battery swap crosses the line into being taken advantage of. What makes this worse is that the job wasn't even completed properly. They did not reset the engine service light and did not reinstall the plastic covers over the exposed battery terminals. So not only was the price extreme, basic finishing steps were skipped. This felt less like "expensive service" and more like gouging paired with sloppy follow-through. I would not return.

Even asked me to take it somewhere else to get the something done that they couldn't do done so that they could finish the job. I opted not to do that. And cut my losses. They still charged me almost the full amount quoted. With no actual work don't except to take it all apart and put it back together. The owner is super full of himself, and I should've known with all of the signs up behind the register that they were not gonna care about their customer and we're going to gouge prices. That's on me. Take it From someone who worked customer service for over 20 years. You will get pretty platitudes from the owners son when you complain. "I'm so sorry to hear that." With no real emotion or care. My husband was told the final charge would be x amount , I came to get my car and was told it was $110 more than we were quoted. All around a bad experience and I will not be going to these people again.
