We went to see We Pay the Max after CarMax and CarDrop, which gave decent offers. The Max beat their offers hands down. Leo Lombardi's service is awesome. What's more, their processing is all online and very efficient. DocSign with your cell phone. We had our check just after we returned from lunch. Highly recommended! Thanks Leo! Worst customer service I've ever seen . Brought my car to get appraised , asked for me to hand my keys over & took my car for a joy ride without even saying another word , without informing me they'd be driving it or even taking it out of the parking lot onto main road , the entrance and exit is terrible with a bump and the dude floored it out there hitting my exhaust on the bump on exit and entrance . Would have been totally fine if I would have been informed or even asked to join along on this joy ride he took with my car around the block . When he returned my car & I approached him to let him know I should have been made aware he handed me my keys & said " here's your keys " and went into an office and closed the door for 5 minutes as I waited outside checking my exhaust for damage .. crazy how one review can make a difference. read more

They don't pay the max. Didn't get as much as I expected. Although it was quick and simple to sell my car.

This place is an absolute joke, they take advantage of people in need. I was offended 1800 for my truck and told me I should be greatful for that number. I took it to arrigo and they offer me 7800, carvana offered me 8000 car max offer me 7300, and a collector bought it for over 8000+ read more

Recently brought my dying friends vehicle for their appraisal. They gave me a price, and I said I have to discuss it with the owner. I asked how long the offer was good to. The salesman said tomorrow at noon. We shook hands. Late in the afternoon that day we called to see what paperwork they needed from us. It was then that the salesman said if we can't get there before they closed that day, the agreed price was off the table. The daughter of my friend had to drop everything and hustle over there to complete an annoying untimely transaction. Auto Buy was dishonest -- if you agree on anything with them get it in writing. By the way, my friend passed away the next day ! read more

Beware, this is a Real review. I received an offer of $17,800 for my Tesla yesterday and asked customer service to please confirm that this was a real offer because I had no time to waste. The lady from Autobuy told me that the offer was legitimate and to take the car for inspection. Today I took the time to take the car to their Cuttler Bay location. My car exceeded all expectations, as it is in like new condition. Their Real Offer was 11K. Typical business doing Bait and Switch. Stay away if you value your time read more

Do not trust these people. They offer3ed me $29000 on the web. I brought the car in and the appraiser said it was in prime condition and he would offer $24000. A $5000 reduction after confirming the car was in excellent condition. They highball yuou on the internet just to get you in. I never had this problem with Carmax which is where I wkent after I left and sold the car. I am sure this must be a regular business practice by them. So not be suckered in like I was. read more

They say they are the ones who pay the best for cars, in my experience it was the opposite, they valued my car the same or even less than Carmax and Carvana, in the end I went to AutoNation in Doral and they gave me $3,000 more for my car, they say they will match it... but it is not true, do not be fooled. read more

These people don't comply with what they say, they really don't pay more than other companies

The team at the WPB location was absolutely incredible to work with and I cannot recommend them enough!! Once in the office, Al and Melissa were kind, efficient, and extremely reasonable with the offers they provided us. This place is very unprofessional, they said will pay the max for your car and that is not true, they pay less. Than everyone else, all they want is people to go to them first. when I went to them I had 3 estimaste already and theirs were the lowest one. I recommend not to go to that place. It is a gimmick. read more

They DO NOT PAY THE MAX. Don't waste your time. I had a non running vehicle. was not expecting much $ but I thought this company would be true to their claim. not! they told me to call their "Sister company". I did, they insulted me! Horrible. I had 2 other companies offer me more and I went with Carsforcash. I so wish companies would just tell the truth and stop wasting everyone's time! read more

The service rep that assisted me, he was awesome, polite, understanding and very knowledgeable. The other associate made me ask him, after inserting I was late and its almost closing time as soon as I walked in the door to finish my transaction of selling vehicle- I was not happy at all and asked if he was the manager? . TAKES FOREVER FOR AUTOBUY TO PAY OFF YOUR CAR! They say 15 days, but with technology does it really take 15 days!! Ridiculous!!!! So just make sure... you will NEED to stay on top of them!!! They didn't send my check out with FedEx until 9/4, so that was literally 8 business days where it sat... after I called and called and called!!! Very DISAPPOINTING!!!!!! Had a few appraisals done at different places (CarMax, CarDrop) and AutoBuy was the best one! Tom was great to work with as well as Janet. There were no hidden fees and Tom explained every step in detail. I would definitely recommend AutoBuy for sure! Thank you Tom for all your help!! read more

Givemethevin is a total scam. They offered me $10k for a beautiful 2007 Chevy 3500 4x4 diesel truck. Those trucks sell for $30k all day on the internet. I sold it for $31k 4 days later. What a scam. Sad to have to part ways with my SUV, but time to make new memories!! This is my first experience selling a car here, and I am writing this as I wait to complete the process. So easy, made an appointment the night before. Showed up and they were running on time. Totally process should only take an hour if seriously selling (otherwise less). Everyone was friendly, informative and helpful. Would definitely come back!! Plus WaWa is next door (they do offer coffee too, but....) read more

I first took my car to CarMax for an appraisal and then I brought it here to see if they would beat the offer. The setup was easy --I went to http://wepaythemax.com/ and set up an appointment easily which they called and confirmed shortly thereafter. When I rolled in they were expeditious and very friendly. I waited in the lounge room with fresh coffee ( woohoo) which is pretty plain but you aren't there long. Then they take you in a room and share the outcome. They told me that my carmax offer was very good and I should consider taking it. They usually do beat the offers but in this case they were not able to. I appreciated the honesty and took their advice! While I didn't sell my car to them, it was worth the time and I appreciated the customer service. To gain another star, need I say? They should have paid the max :-) read more

If I could review no stars or half a star, I WOULD. These people quoted me after inspecting the photos which show the wear and tear of the vehicle. I waited an hour for them to figure everything out, meanwhile they removed the tag they didn't inspect the vehicle, which technically isn't my fault. They sent me on my way with a check which I negotiated for before I even arrived. An hour later they call me that they want money back for a problem they didn't see before, AS IF I WASN'T THERE FOR AN HOUR AND THEY COULD OF INSPECTED IT. Lazy, unprofessional, and just insane that these people are even allowed to do that. So here I am busting a whole ass mission to go all the way back to pick up my car because I refuse to take the loss since I know it doesn't cost that much to fix whatever they're saying is the problem as if they're not gonna turn around and flip the car for 18k. The disrespect. read more

They offered us the best price for our car. The process was easy and straightforward. I would definitely recommend them!

Dwayne helped me thru the sales process he was polite & even got me a ride home . Thanks Again, Autobuy

This was the worst experience Possible. total waste. Oakland park location was a Joke. One person there in a back room. Had to search him out. Personality of a dishMoo. Never introduced himself. Went outside looked at car and went back into his office for 20 min, came out and handed me a printed offer. Nothing after that. I got a text 4 days later saying the offer has been increased. They left the number of a rep to call. Three messages and three texts later no response. Now I am getting texts asking if I am interested in selling my car..... Total joke. Very surprised considering their ads on the radio. read more

How do I rate a place like Autobuy. Ultimately all I really care about is who will pay me the most for our vehicle. In that case it's 5 star as they gave us the most money compared to the other big car buying places around. In a far second place is how easy it is to sell it. I don't like wasting my time. At some places they will say one thing on the phone then you show up and they try to change it etc etc. In this case while the staff was friendly and overall it was an easy experience there were a few hiccups for which I had to deduct a star. When we first went there they gave us a price but never gave us anything in writing. We went home to think about it over the weekend and on Monday decided to go ahead and sell it. Of course now no one knew anything about the quote and the person we dealt with wasn't there. Anyways it was ultimately figured out and we got the price we were quoted. Just a bit of a hassle. Also we went on the road for a few months after selling it and when we got back we found my girlfriends license had been suspended (she owned the car). After investigating it seems it had been suspended because she did not have insurance on the vehicle... the vehicle she sold to Autobuy. Now I'm not sure who's fault this is, if Autobuy did not report the sale properly or the DMV just messed up, but we've never had that happen before with any of the vehicles we have sold. read more

Our company has sold 3 vehicles to Autobuy and we have been very satisfied. Al is a real professional and we will certainly be back!
