This was my first experience selling a car through this type of business. I filled out the forms online and was given an estimate on value. The price offered seemed fair. So we made an appointment to have our car looked at. We arrived on time and was immediately greeted by Mike. He explained the whole process to us and we agreed to go further. After his inspection of the vehicle he gave us a figure which was right on what we figured the car was worth. Mike then informed me of what paperwork was needed to complete the transaction. We came back on Monday with the requested paperwork. Everything was in order and we left with a check for the car. Scammers and Con People! Got an online offer for $6,300 for my 2016 Chevrolet Cargo Van that is in very good condition. Once the Con Man got to my home and completed his inspection, he stated that they would purchase my van for $100! Yes, you heard correctly, $100! We asked him to "get lost"! Maybe 5 minutes after leaving my home, the Con Man called and left a message stating they would now buy my van for $2,500! STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! I repeat. Leon the LOWBALLING LIAR DO NOT SELL TO THEM I went to the dealership after getting a quote for almost $2000 from my Ford F 150 2004 lariot when I get to the dealership after they go over all the inspection stuff they want to tell me that oh we can give you $500 my refuse to take $500 then he tried to up to $700,I told them I couldn't take that then he updated to a $1000 I didn't take that offer at the time. AVOID ! Total bait/switch. Their 'offer' is simply a max value of what they 'might' pay and they start making deductions from there... They make all kinds of deductions of actual or perceived defects. It's understood that a buyer should pay only what they are inclined but the online 'offer' is false advertising. I brought my car here for a valuation after seeing one of their advertisements. When I got the offer, it seemed extremely low and I convinced them to raise it by $2000 easily. The fact that they raised it so easily was already a red flag. The next two offers that I got from CarMax and AutoBuy were thousands of dollars above this place. Only go here if you have a piece of crap old car that no one will buy. My offer from AutoBuy was $4800 above the offer from webuyanycar. They're basically thieves unless you have a junker. read more
