Unfortunately, we had not received any phone call, text, or other notification that our appointment would be postponed. Neither we nor the seller were able to wait an additional three hours, so the inspection could not be completed. As a result, we lost significant time and incurred unnecessary inconvenience. While unexpected staffing issues can happen, the lack of advance notice and the manager's apparent indifference to the impact on all parties reflected very poor customer service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Pep Boys on Bearss Avenue. If you need a pre-purchase inspection or any time-sensitive service, you may want to consider another location with stronger customer service and better communication.
