Absolutely not worth the time. Why buy parts like a battery that cannot be warrantied unless they check the battery. I bought both the alternator and battery from them. They clerk could look up both parts but insisted that if I were to purchase another battery and bring the old one back they would NOT be able to honor the warranty. This is shady beyond belief. Went to my local Auto zone to purchase a battery. Took the battery home and installed the battery and it didn't work. I checked the charge and the battery was no good, took it back for a return. They checked it out and determined it was bad as well. They told me they would charge it and see if it held a charge. I said BULLSHIT, I wanted my money or a new battery, the so called manager insisted that wasn't policy. They could not give me a refund. Of course I was very upset and had to make a big deal about something that is completely ridiculous. You sell me some bullshit ass product and don't stand behind it! I have come to this place several times for some parts for all my cars and SUV. Guys/Gals here are always helpful and serve you with the smile. For this place and review, this night deserves more than 5 stars! Jorge and Rafael had definitely gone above and beyond! I came in for fuse for my older BMW and Jorge was very helpful with picking and testing the right fuses out,. Then just about to leave the parking lot, my Toyota Sequoia battery went out, Jorge was such a savior helping me out on testing, jumping and getting the SUV started. They didn't even pressure me on buying a new battery. As a matter of fact, Jorge suggested to take the battery back to Costco where I got the old one. But I went ahead and get their Duralast Battery. I went to Auto Zone this morning because my driver's headlight was out. I was greeted upon entering the store and helped out immediately. Two young men there were very helpful and even helped me install the new bulb and made sure it fixed the problem before I left. I would highly recommend this store if you need help. I went to this location because the first one I went to was completely unhelpful. Let me reiterate, the service at another location was so bad I made the drive to another! This location was just as unwelcoming and unwilling to give me any good customer service. The manager was incompetent. His subordinates were even worse. Instead of listening to my needs and accommodating me for the terrible service I received at the other location, they trivialized my criticism and made excuses for the poor service. It seems that laziness and stupidity is throughout this establishment on multiple levels and locations. This review doesn't truly capture how much contempt I have for this organization now. We purchased an alternator for my ex-wife's 2007 Jeep Liberty. She took my vehicle to work and I was supposed to replace her alternator. Problem was that the harness connection was wrong and would not fit. I was stuck! I had an injury and needed to get to a doctor's appointment, pick up my prescriptions and had other important errands to do and no way to get around unless I fixed her car. Manager Gabriel was kind enough to dispatch Wayne to bring me the correct alternator. Well, the second unit did not fit either. Wayne took all three alternators back to the store to figure it out. Turns out that the problem was our 2007 Liberty needed a 2008 model year alternator in order for the connector to match. So Wayne made another trip out to our house with the correct alternator and all was okay! There was a difference in price (their favor) and they allowed me to come in later to take care of it - which I did. To me, this was exceptional customer service that went over and above the call of duty. It's rare these days. Gabriel - Wayne... you guys ROCK! Thank you so much! read more

These guys completely wasted my time. They had no idea what they were doing. They sold me the wrong battery. After comparing it to my old one. Instead of just searching it in their system like I asked them to the first time. And then they didn't even refund me the correct amount after I told them it was wrong. I double checked my bank account charge and sure enough I was right. Basic customer service skills and empathy go a long way, instead of looking at me like I'm the idiot when the store made a mistake. This experience ruined auto zone for me. I've been going to this Autozone for 10 years, I have great experiences over those years, but today i have never been more disappointed in Autozone. Specifically, Manager Marcus, who offered to help my son only to lie about the engine being too hot. Temp gauge was on C, we literally live across the street, less than a 60 second drive. I came out 5 minutes after Marcus' decision, touched the engine myself, son touched it, temp gauge still on C. I advised Marcus that the engine was is not hot and would appreciate his assistance. He proceeded to tell me the engine is hot and will not help me. I went back and touched it again, returned advising him that I am not exempt from being burned if an engine is hot, that i have put my hands down in there twice and it is not. Marcus unprofessionally, and sarcastically postured and refuse, telling me to do it myself. I asked for someone else's assistance. He looked at another coworker, who walked out without any pushback, but said he had never recharged the air condition before, he proceeded to google it, reached in and assisted us, no hot engine, 5 minutes and done. The employee also commented that "it's funny that the manager is supposed to be the one doing this, but...(smh)". There was no reason for Marcus to make up an excuse and flat refuse to assist the customer with their vehicle. Keep your personal issues out of the workplace, Marcus. Your unprofessionalism should not be a representation of all Autozone employees, just YOU. You should review the Autozone exemplary customer service standards, or reevaluate your choices. read more

Ignore the one star because it should be ZERO. I simply came to this store to see what my options were regarding an issue I had with a pair of duralast max wipers I had purchased at a Hesperia store. The employee, possibly manager since he was elderly was so damn rude and undermining. I explained the issue again and he continued to tell me I was wrong that the wipers were good (which I didn't say they weren't) and there was nothing wrong with them. If I could give this place no stars, i would ! I called in today because I needed assistance with my warranty. I changed my number twice since I made my original purchase and I do not have my receipt . I called and the person who answered the call asked how he could help , I explained my situation to him and asked if there is any other way they can check my warranty other than my phone number . He cuts me off and says " nope .. nope." I said okay so you can use my name cause now I see online you can he says " nope " again . At this point I feel he is being rude so I asked to speak with a manager and he said he is the manager . I told him next time your speaking with a customer it's rude to say "Nope" when they are calling asking for help. He cuts me off again raising his voice and says " well no there's no other way so" and I said all i'm saying is you should have simply said no there is no other way instead of saying nope. I've been here before and received good service. I don't know what happened since then! I've NEVER been to an auto parts store that didn't know so much. Seems like you'll have to walk in with the specific auto part you need for them to know. I'm not sure they'd know in that case either. All I needed was a front light bulb. The guy said it could only be one of two types. A head light or a turning signal light. I know I'm a chick but I know the difference between a headlight and a turning light. All I kept getting from him was an "I don't know" you'll have to take it off and bring it in. All while I was parked right in front of the store. Never offered to look. I wasn't asking for it to be replaced JUST THE RIGHT BULB!!! I googled the info just in case the next place was as ignorant and got what I needed. Sunday, 12/18. 2016 I asked an autozone employee to check my battery to see if it was charging properly. I had been having some problems starting it in the last two days. The employee stated the battery was fairly new (it was brought in the last 6 months). I stated it should still be under warranty as this is a replacement of a battery I brought from Autozone. He stated the battery was good, I told him I was just checking because I'm heading back home to Las Vegas and I did not want to have any problems with the battery. I get home, on Monday, 12/19 the car sat in my garage all day. On Tuesday I started it up and it again sounded like it had no power. I got it started, took it to Autozone right down the street from my wife, doctors appointment. This young man checked my battery and as I suspected it was dying. He replaced my battery free of charge but I'm concerned the employee at the Fontana store did not see this battery was failing. I'm very disappointed because I could have had problems on the way home to Las Vegas. I'm lodging a 'complaint' against this store. I expect all employees to simply do their job.....I will be writing your corporate office regarding this issue.. read more

Customer service was rude, obnoxious, & condescending. I went in to get a few things to clean my car. I found an offer they posted on the shelf that if I bought two items I'd get another item free. So I grabbed the other item got in line. When I got to the register I asked if I had the right items to get the offer. The clerk said "we don't offer that anymore. We just haven't taken the sign down yet." When I told the clerk you have to honor your advertisement he started getting rude and dismissive. I told him again if it's posted you have to honor it and he starts rolling his eyes and and says "whatever sir". Then he leaves the register, pulls the sign off the shelf, comes back, and still won't honor the offer. He then starts to ring it up on the register. I had to tell him "If I'm not getting the offer I'm not going to buy it, take it off". I bought the other items but a couple days later returned it all. I found the items for less some where else. There is too much competition out there for this kind of customer service. I won't be back. read more

I was trying to Buy A computer for my 2002 dodge ram 2500. they took my computer as a core for the new computer on the day of 12/15/18 and I was Told that it would be there in 2 days. I returned 2 days later to find out that it would be there on the 28th. On the 28th I was told by the store manger that it was being shipped and would be there the next day. On the 29th I was told it was sent to the builder and was being built and that I had already Been told about the rebuild. I was not told. on the 1/2/18 I was told my core was lost by fed x and never made it back to the builder. Now I was told on the 29th it was at the builder???? Then on the 1/2/18 I was told it never made it. But the manger told me it was at the builders a few days before. I called Corporate and so far no call back. The store manger said he will give me back my money with out my core. Well The core is 400 from the dealer I need to pay to get a new computer. My cost is 1400.
