Unresponsive. Will put you on hold until they can't anymore. Then they'll ignore you. Worst Auto Zone in the city

Staff are really slow and the parking lot is always jammed with cars. I've seen armed security which always makes me wonder about safety.

If you need to go shopping for car parts i suggest you go to Auto Zone or Pep boys, Save your self…read morethe money and time. These independent local business would give you a run for your money. They will tell you exactly what you want to hear then make you waste your time and money. By the main entrance they have about 5 local mechanic workers that the minute you come in or right before you come in they tell you they can fix anything on your car without knowing that's really the problem. I needed to buy something fast for my car since my exhaust pipe had cracked, so i came in this place and the person behind the counter told me i needed to change my entire pipe line. He starts looking for pieces in the computer and tells me it would come out to over $350. I asked him how about if i just remove the part that's cracked find the perfect pipe size and weld it together he told me no that wont work. He then tells me to speak to one of the guys in front of the shop. Since he saw i was not going with what he had told me to do he basically did not want to deal with me no more. So i go to the front the guy tell me he well do it for $300. I just laugh and left it at that i told him i would come back. I went home did some research and found out thats a job that i can get under $40. I went to Auto Zone and spoke to the guy behind the counter he told me how to get it fix. I went to a highly recommend it shop near by recommend it by Auto Zone and i got it fix. The person did the job for exactly $40. This was a well learned lesson always go to the pros.

Image the worst possible human you can think of and now translate that into a business. This place…read morenot only ruined my day but they almost distorted my car. I called to buy a new battery and they said they have it and can deliver right away, they are located less than 2 miles away. I had blocked out my day to take care of this and additional errands that revolved around getting the battery and car started. So after an 1.5 hours i called to ask what was the status of the order, they replied that its on the way. Now another 1.5 hours goes by and its almost 6 and now its raining and everything i was hoping to do is no longer possible since i have been waiting for the damn battery to show up. I call again and they say "Ohh the battery ok were on our way now," at this point i am really upset, whole day is shot and I was lied too. I wait outside in the rain for another 15 minutes and they guy shows up and pulls up besides my car. He opens the trunk and there are TWO batteries. He scratches his head and asks "Which one do you want." At this point i am in awe of their incompetence. I tell him that i want the one for MY car and they are the ones that told me they have the specific battery for my car in stock! I told him he should call to find out. He says that its to late they went home. This is 3.5 hours after i placed the order, btw. So he comes up with the bright idea of jumping my car with the new battery to get the trunk open so we can see what the old battery looks like. I drive a car that was built NOT to be jumped because of its sensitive electrical equipment. This was the whole point of why i asked for the battery to be delivered to my home. But at this point i am so desperate to get this whole scenario behind me that I agreed. I get in the car and he connects this massive beast of a battery to my electrical system. This is the part where shit hits the fan. All my gages maxed out and then dropped to nothing. My car stopped responding. He fried the entire electrical system. I have not cried since i was 12 and i think i felt like either killing this guy or balling like a little baby. Luckily I was able to harness what remnant i had left of self control kindly asked him to take his batteries and leave my driveway. He seamed disappointed that i waisted 10 minutes of his worthless time. Where I lost the entire day, and potentially destroyed the entire electrical system in my car. I frantically called every auto parts store i could to get a new battery and ask for advice on how i can bring my car back to life when luckily a guy that was much more knowledgeable told me he can help but the $100 battery, actually costs $250 with him. I really wished that i just got on bike and picked one up myself from auto zone. I agreed and he came with the correct battery and installed it for me. The installation reset the circuit breaker and my car came back to life. I was soo happy that i gladly overpaid the 150. Before he got there i was thinking that the car was done for and BMW would rip me off a few thousand to change "the computer" which is their go to for why everything is so expensive with them. Anyways, these this store cost me an extra 150 dollars because they waisted my entire day waiting for a battery that was not the right one. Loosing cash is one thing but making me spend the entire day on something that should have only taken 20 minutes is what really upsets me. I would avoid this place at all costs, their was not one thing they were able to do correctly.
