Normally it only takes a few hours to be approved but they locked my account because it appeared that someone had co-opted my account, changed my address, phone, and email, and applied for a car loan. Well...it was ME. I moved and was updating my info. I don't fault them because I agree with them that it LOOKED suspicious. I'd rather they be too cautious than not cautious enough. Within just a few days everything was fixed and I had my car loan. Then that same lousy other CU messed up my credit card for the second time. Instead of fighting with them, I just opened a NFCU credit card at 3 times the credit limit of the other CU. The card was approved within 2 hours. These folks get it right. I am SO thankful I have a car loan and credit card with NFCU. I have full confidence they're going to treat me properly. I will ALWAYS select the supplier that provides the best customer service. I'm willing to pay more for superior customer service and NFCU has broken that code. That's why I'm now with them for a long time.

The night we were driving the car home (right after purchasing) the drivetrain error came on along with the check engine light. I immediately text Tyler, our salesperson. It was a Thursday and he told us to bring it on the following Monday. Of course once you drive off of the lot they treat you like they could care less. They had the car the whole day and when we called before closing to see what the deal was, they just said the light wasn't on. Driving home, the light and error came back on. We've spent thousands of dollars just trying to get estimates and attempts to at least get it drivable. My son is heartbroken as we all are. He can't even take the college courses he needs to because his new car isn't safe. The consensus is that the BMW needs a full engine replacement which is way more than what we owe on it. It has been driven less than 2000 miles over six months....mostly from taking it to repair shops. The car has been sitting in the front of our house collecting dust for months while we still owe 12k plus insurance. In the grand scheme of things, this is minor, but we were also promised a replacement interior door panel which never arrived. It's a shame that a business like this is able to continue taking advantage of people. We were told by Tyler that the car was in great condition. I do believe they violated the DTPA. They either knew the issues or just bought it straight from eBay or somewhere and never inspected the vehicle. I have text messages with proof the lights were on on the date of purchase. This guy completely ripped me off then tells me to use the warranty he sold me on the car(warranty won't cover the repairs because the car is "too new"). Mind you this happened within 4 weeks of purchasing the vehicle. The battery died 2 times within a couple weeks of buying the vehicle, which I then found out the battery in the car was incompatible and a short-term battery(3-6 months no warranty).

It seems pretty efficient for 2 tellers at 4 stations, one being lowered for customers in wheelchairs. I was quickly served as soon as I walked in. My teller had a worrying look on her face. I thought something was wrong with my account. Maybe she was busy and still thinking about the last customer she helped. I noticed the line for ATM was longer than inside the branch. The customers were much younger than at VA Medical Center where both locations veterans visit. I can't say if I would return because they made sure all customers use online banking all the time. If I didn't read the first reviewer said that this branch opened in 2017, I would have paid attention to this part of the mall. Because I normally go to JCPenney and H-E-B on the other side.

Worst car buying experience ever!…read more Bored with my previous vehicle, I decided to pull into RTG to see if there was a candidate for an even trade. I found a vehicle and worked with the salesman Tino to make the trade. So far so good. The car had a service engine sign on (first warning sign I ignored) but I was assured it just needed an oil change and to come back in a few hours after that got done. So when I went back, the adjoining auto repair shop had finished the oil change but couldn't figure out how to reset the code so the check engine light would go off. (Ignored warning sign #2) they never could figure it out so Tino rode with me to another mechanics shop to see if they could get the light turned off. I mistakenly thought this was a good sign - surely two mechanics looking at the car would clue me in to something horrible brewing under the hood. The second mechanic got the check engine light turned off and off I went in my new to me car. Everything seemed great until about 300 miles later when the car broke down. Took it to a shop I trust and OMG the engine "suffered catastrophic damage" and would have to be replaced!!! I didn't even make it through one tank of gas!!! I made some serious car buying errors because I was impatient and careless BUT I can't help but feel that I got swindled. I don't know if Tino knew about the car's issues for sure. My mechanic told me the engine was in pretty bad shape before the piston hit the valve and destroyed the engine. If you're looking for a new car - just keep looking somewhere else.
