Brought in my auto because the driver's seat had torn. They matched the color of the seat perfectly and completed the work almost an hour earlier than they had expected. The staff was very accommodating and were excellent listeners. given the work, the charge was very fair and competitive. read more

I recently bought in a vehicle for a headliner fabric replacement due to it detached from the board. The vehicle was dropped off in the morning and was ready for pickup in the early afternoon. I was surprised the job was completed so quickly. The quality of job was excellent! Just like factory installation! Regarding the price, it was fair. All I can ask for is quality at a fair price point. And most reasonable people would agree. Definitely would return when I have future auto upholstery work. Thank you Auto Upholstery Needs! read more

They repaired my console in such a way it looks better than when I got the car! Very fair prices

Took my moms car there. Impressive work that was completed prior to when they said it would be. Not only that, they even fixed more than what was requested. Their services met and exceeded our expectations. Great Job!! read more

We brought our 2015 Avalon in to have the front arm rests and console reupholstered. James responded to my phone message via text almost immediately. He gave me a price for each and we set a date and time almost immediately. We brought it in about 9 AM and picked it up about 3:30. Everowas as promised. Their work is reasonably priced and beautiful! Photos of the driver's arm rest and center console are included. We are most pleased! read more

They have replaced the headliner in two of my cars. They do excellent, quick work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend

this family owned place is the best! I was taken care of right away very kindly. I went across the street to an amazing family owned restaurant and by the time I returned my truck was ready to go. I'm amazed what a difference the new headliner makes!! the price was reasonable with great quality. 10/10 would definitely recommend! read more

Well plain and simple I can't say enough about this business either! The people here are super talented and know exactly what they're doing with upholstery from auto boat and just about anything! I haven't seen anything leave this place looking other than immaculate they also do ragtops and droptops From my understanding! They have also been helping me to sew up some of my scuba gear for my students at UT Arlington I can't say enough how much they have helped me. And they're also getting some of the work done on my truck to keep the interior looking nice the prices were more than reasonable read more

I looked online for a business to upholster my boat seat and sun deck. I came to this business because of the great reviews. When I took my boat in, I saw their schedule board was completely full. Even though they were very busy with phone calls and other customers, they fit me right in and gave me the price within 10 minutes. They told me it would be a couple weeks which was understandable since I saw all the things they already had scheduled. They finished late on Saturday and called me but it was 20 minutes before closing at 2PM. I couldn't make it there by closing, so the owner, James offered to meet me today, even though they are closed on Sunday's. Thank you so much James and wife Dana for taking time out of your Sunday together to allow me to get my boat! You rock!!! read more

I had some 2005 Ford Mustang door inserts that needed replacing because Ford sucks on standing by their products.....anyway, James did a great job on the replacements. Highly recommend their work.... read more

Incredible service. They redid the top on my 1998 328i BMW. First off, they had me order the top online. Why is this good? They had me do it, so there wasn't a mark up on the parts. Very few people will do this. Then, they had me ship it directly to them. They quoted me a flat rate on the phone and stuck to it. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and it was done by the end of business. They gave me good directions on what to do to let the top "settle in". After letting it get set, I noticed a small issue. I took it back to them, and they took care of it, no questions asked. Finding good people to do automotive work is really hard to do. I will refer anyone and everyone I know to these folks. read more

They replaced the sagging headliner in my old Honda Civic in August 2018. The new headliner looked like it came from the factory. Over a year later, it still looks great and new. The work was done quickly yet they paid attention to detail. I'll definitely give them a call again and would recommend them. read more

Very happy with their services. Being a woman I sometimes feel I'll be taken advantage of when going in to any kind of shops where it's mostly men working. I didn't feel that way here. After spilling some watermelon juice, and letting it sit overnight (forgot my lunch bag in the back seat). I started looking for an upholstery place. I called Auto upholstery Needs, and spoke with James who advised me I might be able to get it covered through my insurance. No other place had informed me of that. When I came in for an estimate I was pleasantly surprised it would be cheaper than my deductible. Yay! I was able to avoid submitting a claim through my insurance. They had my seat done fairly quick. I hope I never spill anything inside my car again, but if I do I will definitely bring my car back to Auto upholstery Needs. Fair price, quick, and best of all. No gross smell from what I had spilled before. read more

My experience with them was top shelf. Not only did the owner give me excellent advice on what to expect, but he advised me to order my Miata top and have it drop shipped to his shop. Even told me the best manufacturer to order from. That saved me a lot of money and I was assured of getting the style of top that I wanted. Everything was seamless from our first conversation to when I picked up my car. Quick one day service instead of a week like other shops. If you need upholstery work done on your vehicle, please call this shop. I had the work completed 2 months ago and have had no problems. read more

I left a message over the weekend to ask about replacing the top on a convertible. I think it was James who called me first thing Monday morning with a reasonable quote. I called him back a few days later and asked a few questions. All were answered without any nonsense. I dropped off my car there with John who was not exactly full of joy upon first meeting. Quite snappy in responses and on the borderline of rude. But I got the sense that these guys are just no BS, straight to the business, and deliver the goods. My car was ready the next day as promised and the top looked fantastic. Not a hint of any damage anywhere and looking as good as new. My other car had a flat while I was arriving there and John and crew were eager to help me get the spare on very quickly. Good place with good people. Thanks Guys! I will be back for other upholstery services. read more

I took my Volvo there with a badly sagging headliner and they quoted me HALF of what another well rated place quoted. I scheduled an appointment, dropped it off around lunch and it was done a few hours later. It looks amazing! They did a great job and were very pleasant to work with. I'd recommend this place to anyone in dfw! read more

Good price. They seem to have younger workers so make sure to check all the handles and compartments to make sure they got all the screws put back in. I had to take my car back because some of the screwws did not make it back to their respective holes, but the manager took care of it promptly and apologized for the inconvienence. read more

Could not have asked for a better experience. Went by the shop on Wednesday and discussed upgrading the interior on my 2016 Ram 1500 to leather. James, the owner, went over my options and we decided on a leather kit from Katskin. He ordered the kit which came in Thursday. I dropped the truck off Friday morning at 800 and he called me at 100 to let me know the truck was done. Great job, excellent service. Would highly recommend. read more

Enlisted these guys to repair our rear seat that was damaged from our car seat. They did an incredible job and the return time was only 2 days. Will use them again if I need to. read more

Worked with John to recover the leather on my 2008 Honda Accord's center console. The job was very well done, and it looks like brand new. John said he would have it done in 4 hours (same day), and it was done exactly on time. Price seemed to be fair and reasonable as well. I took the car here because of reviews and location, and the work we excellent. If I need work done in the future, I will return to Auto Upholstery Needs, Inc. read more
