It happened as I was driving out to sign paperwork for my new house purchase back in 2023. Not very good time. But getting a flat tire doesn't ever happen at a good time!! This time after buying a new Mazda it was at about 21K miles. My friends had noticed my tire looked low, so after some investigative work we found a screw jammed into the inside wall of the tire. My friend got the screw out and plugged it for me. I went up to get the new tire the next morning. I was greeted by Keith in the parking lot. Showed him pictures of what had happened and we went inside. They didn't have the exact matching tire in stock, but had same brand and almost identical tread. He also turned me onto getting their certificate program. I basically have coverage on all 4 tires now. Plus they'll rotate and balance when I want it done. Instead of paying $267 for one tire, I paid $189 for one tire and protection for all of them. Seemed like the smart move to me!!

I didn't have an appointment this time either, but they were still super friendly and helpful. They've definitely earned my business, and I'll recommend them to anyone.

We choose Gerald's as we trust them. We dropped it off at night, so they could diagnose the issue. They called us and said after inspection it was a tire issue. We went ahead with the service as they recommended it. When they called us to pick it up, I asked if they were able to confirm if the issue was resolved. If not, we could have it further diagonsed and resolve the issue. They told me they do not drive the cars after installing tires. Odd as how would they be able to confirm if the issue was resolved? Continuing to trust them, we picked it up and our car. Unfortunately for us, we have two new tires and a car that still shakes.

The wheels were swapped over, no issues. I got home to download the old wheels and noticed that they shredded around the lip where the machine separates them from the tires. This caused a deep gash in the lip of the wheel. Simon didn't mention this to me at all. I came back to the shop to bring it the owner/managers attention. I was approached by Simon who I didn't want to speak with but kept hovering around me wanting to discuss the issue. Spoke with the manager and she stated the owner just had a child. Fair enough. Please have him call me. No call. Nothing. Took the wheel to Kwiksilver, they said they couldn't fix it. I came back Saturday to Quality Tire Co. Owner was there. After we spoke, he wanted to solve the problem with whatever I thought the resolution would be. Only problem is, is that the wheels are rare. Very hard to replace something that's been discontinued for over 30 years. I explained to him that I had a buyer (original owner ) and they pulled out the sale for the overall condition of the wheel. He said it's "still sellable". I could sell the wheel for $50. Doesn't make it sellable. Owner was very indifferent when it came to the issue and when I explained the attitude his employee at work has affecting his professionalism at work, he defended his employee saying it's not true. I've heard it every time I come here from this employee and I don't usually care until it affects how they perform their duties at work, which it did. If you have nice wheels and want good service for people who hold their business accountable for their mistakes and actions, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Owner defends his employees terrible work habits and literally could care less about the customer afterwards. No call back. I had to come find you and then the indifferent attitude. Asked if they needed to look at my vehicle to see what else was needed because I know I was gonna need an alignment too. They said no to just come back the next day. Went in and was told I needed to come back the next day as they needed to order more parts but still put my tires on without an alignment. A little over $1600 and two whole days wasted. Yesterday I was driving home from work when one of my brand new $173 tire blew. I took it back to the shop being as it hadn't even been 30 days. I got told that bad things happen and that there was no warranty for the tires I got. If I wanted a new one I would have to buy yet another tire. Years of business down the drain but with the new management the whole company has gone under. Wouldn't even recommend this 'repair' shop to my worst enemy
