Our 2023 vehicle had a small screw in one of the tires, but it held air for quite some time before gradually losing pressure and triggering the warning light. A simple plug should have resolved the issue. Instead, the shop insisted the tire needed to be replaced and sold my domestic partner a so-called "good used tire." As seniors who don't drive frequently, we didn't expect trouble. But just two weeks later, during a trip to Florida's Space Coast, the car began shaking violently about halfway there. The shaking worsened rapidly, and with no safe place to pull over, we were forced to drive well below the speed limit just to maintain control. We finally stopped at a reputable tire center, where we were told the tire was "obviously defective and posed a serious safety risk. and we were lucky to avoid an accident." When we returned to A-Plus Tires and explained what happened, we were met with indifference. We asked for a refund, of $75 only to be told they don't accept returns after 15 days. It had been 30 days--including a week we were out of town--but this policy was never disclosed at the time of purchase. Had we known, we never would have agreed to buy a used tire. When at home we drive around 50-100 miles per week. The tire had fewer than 500 miles on it, yet it could have caused a serious or even fatal accident. We expected at least a refund, an apology, or some acknowledgment of the danger we faced. Instead, we got none of the above. Please be cautious. This business showed no integrity, no accountability, and no concern for customer safety.

I have also included screenshots to substantiate my claims. Lie #1: When I inquired about the status of my car, I was told they had "ordered a Solenoid from Jack's Transmission." However, when I followed up with Jack's Transmission, they had no record of any parts being ordered. This was the first indication of dishonesty and deception. Lie #2: The car sat in front of the shop for over a month before they even started diagnosing the issue. They constantly assured me that the car was being worked on, but over two months had passed without any substantial progress. Lie #3: On August 23rd, they claimed to be "working on getting it back together," yet no work had been completed. Lie #4: I was told that the blinker was fixed and that they were addressing the airbag issue. However, the blinker was not fixed when I picked up the car in October, and the airbag issue remained unaddressed. Lie #5: On August 24th, they informed me that a "flushing procedure for the solenoid" was necessary, even though they hadn't replaced the broken part in the transmission. This was clearly an unnecessary step. Lie #6: In early September, I visited the shop to see the car's progress. I observed the transmission pan in the car, and when I excitedly asked if the transmission was fixed, they lied, assuring me it was good to go. Lie #9: On September 25th, they claimed the correct bolts had arrived, but when I had the car taken to another shop, I discovered they had used subpar bolts instead of the appropriate ones. Lie #10: On September 26th, they promised that I would get my car back that day, but it was just another empty promise. This individual even bizarrely alluded to the possibility of physical confrontation, indicating that he knew his lies were catching up with him.
