Unfortunately, over the last year, the quality of service has noticeably declined with each visit. It feels like the staff responsible for cleaning the vehicles are becoming increasingly careless, often doing just the bare minimum. On my most recent visit, I paid over $50 for a wash, including a mat cleaning and a tip. While the exterior of my vehicle looked great, the interior was very disappointing. The mats were merely sprayed with water and still visibly dirty. The plastic trim on the passenger floor and the door panels hadn't been properly cleaned, and the trunk wasn't vacuumed at all. When I got home, I used a simple wipe and my own vacuum to clean the areas they missed -- the dirt came off easily and should have been handled during the service. For the price, I expect a much higher standard of care and attention to detail. I won't be returning. As a side note, while I was there, another customer was also voicing similar complaints, his car was still dirty inside and even had trash left in the cupholders. Wheel Works used to be a reliable place for a quality clean, but something has clearly changed. I hope they take the feedback seriously and return to the level of service they once offered.

About a month ago they were having issues with their equipment. They have two bays to go along with the tunnel. Since the Tunnel wasn't working I saw a car being washed in one of the bays. So I asked the manager if I could use one. This guy got in my face within less than an inch. I said nothing to provoke him. I believe he wanted to fight me. I wasn't going to take the bait but I can't go there anymore.

I basically let him know they're lucky they don't need his permission to exist and went to wait for my car. Dude, just wash my car and take my money, I don't need the ignorant hate and don't care about your terrible opinions. Really just off putting. I went for a car wash and got some white dude's bad take on an issue that doesn't affect him. Bad business sense. I know it's the 'burbs but it's a mistake to assume everyone's an asshole. Doubt I'd go back for this alone.

If you wash your car more than once a month, the unlimited plans are a good deal. They also have self-wash bays, though I've never used them. Employees are always friendly. I like that they towel dry your car after it goes through the tunnel, which not all car washes do for you. That's worth extra to me, and I always tip them as well.

He asked if there's anything that I really care about when I step into my car -- this showed how personable the process is. I handed him the key and I went back into my apartment to work on other tasks. It took about 4 hour to do both the interior and exterior. He explained how he couldn't really fix the scratches because the thin coating on my paint was too thin. I understood because I personally haven't taken the time to take care of my car all these years. He was able to apply wax though. The car looked so shiny and clean. The interior really felt close to being brand new! We didn't have plans to go out that day but we couldn't resist the urge to go out in our "brand new" car and drove to Old City.
