I was convinced to convert them for when it becomes Luxe, but the cashier never told me that a "full service " wash in the new place wouldn't include vacuuming the inside or drying the outside. After hearing this from my husband, I tried to get the money (for 8 coupons!) back, but the cashier refused to even discuss it and told me "you can vacuum it yourself for free." read more

This car wash damaged a new vehicle. The new owner's name is Shiv Shah. He doesn't take responsibility for his car wash. I dare you to wash your car at this place. If you do, then you may be looking at filing an insurance claim to cover the expensive damages. This car wash has video cameras taping the cars before and after. If you file a claim against them, that video footage is kept for at least a year. That is evidence that can be used in your favor. The only things he respects are small claims court filings and insurance claims. The previous owner was Irv and he was a good man and respectful toward everyone. This new owner is a disaster. Stopped here for a full-wash and was really disappointed. Service was really fast but that is the only complement I would give. Paid $19 with tax plus a $3/tip for a poor job. Cons: - Didn't even bother to do the two cup holders. - Didn't vacuum the trunk, in between the center console, and the dash. - Lots of dog hair still was on the back seat cover and back floor mat. - Various stains on center console, passenger door, and by parking brake were still there. All easy to remove with even a modest cleaning. I hadn't been here in several years and I don't ever plan to go back. They used to do a decent job but there are a few other options by my parents in Shillington which charge much less and do a much better job. read more

Since this car wash was sold it went down hill. I know they are renovating and changing management but I was very disappointed when I went to redeem 4 unused car wash coupons for new ones on August 12 and they refused to do so even though I was told I had until the 15th. Needless to say I will never go here again. I'll take the 3 cars I have elsewhere for a wash. Can't believe they will lose so much in the future because they wouldn't honor 4 prepaid washes. Simply put, this is the worst and most frustrating experience I have ever had with a car wash, if you can even call it that. The Wash: my car is put through the automatic wash. As my car moves down through it comes to the drying phase. As the dryers turn on, the employee opens the door and all the water from my car is blown into my vehicle. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the willingness to wipe off all of the water that coated my interior. The Interior Cleaning: I asked for "my dash and windows to be wiped." At no point in this statement did I ask for them to armor all my steering wheel or leather seats. Any individual that knows anything about detailing knows YOU DON'T PUT ARMOR ALL ON A STEERING WHEEL. Beyond that, they didn't even use the leather armor all for my seats. They used the traditional stuff which specifically says that it shouldn't be used on leather. Regular armor all clogs the pores of leather and with cause discoloration, rotting, and cracking of leather over time. Not to mention, if you do use armor all, at least apply it properly. I am left with high shine streak all over my seats and spots along the plastic and vinyl because the water that blew in my car and applying this before drying up the water. Over All: I am now left having to invest in the proper equipment to remove this armor all devastation from my vehicle. The pathetic excuse of a interior cleaning that this was called should be renamed as the "best way to ruin your car" package. For years I used Misters Carwash and it looks like I'm now going back. This was tragically terrible. I was in town and never went there before. I borrowed a friends car for a few days, and wanted to return it nice and clean, and this place was down the street from my hotel, so thought I'd give it a try. See the pics attached. This is what the $27 platinum service got me along with a $10 tip. They supposedly "hand dry" the car with towels, but my car was still dripping as I left. Look at the interior, this was vacuumed?? Wow, that is sad and what a massive waste of money. The dash was still super dusty as well and forgot to take pics of that. Only plus side, they had a good selection of snacks by the cashier. Go elsewhere if you are looking for a wash in the reading/Wyomissing area. read more

I'm very disappointed my first time going to this location and I paid $46 for full service and end up getting robbed. My personal belongings were stolen from my glove box and then when I approach a manager or owner or whatever he calls himself he was giving me a hard time about compensating me for what was stolen out of my personal compartment I would never recommend this location to anyone unless you like your personal belongings stolen and nothing done about it read more

Before the Auto Spa closed, I asked on (2) different occasions what would happen with the Gift card coupons that I had purchased. I was told that Luxe would issue credit based on $17 per wash. I Told several people I know to hold onto thier cards that they could use them when Luxe opened. When Luxe opened, I once again asked and was told that they would continue to honor the cards. Went at the end of January early Feb and told they would only honor them another 2 weeks. Was told by the owner that I should contact the ex owners of Auto Spa if I had any issue and he could give me thier address.... Glad I had a free wash and did not pay because it did a very poor job and missed a ton of spots. It was nice that Luxe gives you free towels, so when you are done going through you can get all the spots that were missed by hand!!! The vacuums are terrible, they have a small crevice tool attached that is impossible to use. I went to Tommy's this weekend, hands down they did a much much better job and my car was clean! I live 1/4 mile from Luxe and was a 20 yr+ Auto spa customer.....I will never be back. Good luck with your new venture. read more

The lovely woman at the front called my mother multiple curse words and tried to refuse to give her a receipt. They'll take your money and pretend to clean your car, but good god if you complain. She's very lucky I was not with my mother at the time because truly, she called my mother fat, a pig, and the b word. Settle down, honey, you work at a car wash. If you cannot do the job you're charging people for, don't offer it. It's called vacuuming; it's not hard. We're also sending in a complaint to Better Business Bureau because this is honestly outrageous. How dare you cut a person down. If you can't handle your business receiving complaints without making things personal, get out of customer service. One day she's going to say something to the wrong person, and that person may not let things roll off their back. To be so despicable that you have to tear a person down based on their appearance is horrifying. It's called bullying and people commit suicide over it. Just remember that, honey. read more

After being a 2 decades old customer, and purchaser of coupon books that I used to get car washes and tire shine put on my vehicles... I learned the family sold the business and now the new owner is ripping down and just going to have a self service car wash. I'm out over 220.00 with remaining coupons that I can't use, nor was I refunded by the Bressler family before they sold. There are plenty of pissed off customers who are in the same situation that I am. This is no way to treat loyal customers who supported a local business. Needless to say I will not be returning to the new do it yourself facility when it opens, the last wash I had under this guys management was horrible, but went home and had to wash my vehicle again. What a shame, a good business that went downhill, I believe because of Covid, nobody wanted to work there anymore. If I could it would be negative stars for robbing customers of their money by selling them coupon books that they had no intentions of honoring, or refunding if they were selling the business. read more

Before I went in I drew an S curve on my navigation screen. Paid my $18.00 and the screen as well as the top of my dash was not touched. Third row seats were folded down to get the back vacuumed, the guy looked at the back side windows and closed the tailgate, never touched the windows. This is the second time I took my Ford Bronco (2021) and paid extra to have the wheels cleaned. The first time after complaining, they did a horrible job. Second time I complained and they didn't even attempt to clean them. Also was barely swept and windshield still dirty. Went right to Mr. Carwash and they did an awesome job for less money. read more

Bought a voucher for Autospa from a kid going door to door raising money for his league. First time there in over 10 years and I won't be going back. Wash was OK, but after leaving I noticed a ton of hairline scratches on my windshield that I know for a fact where not there before. When I checked the outside, sure enough, swirl marks all over my SUV. Not sure if they use sand paper to dry the cars or if the brushes inside are that dirty, but if you value your paint job or windshield, go somewhere else. read more

I've been going to the Auto Spa for years. They always do a great job. The people are always very friendly and the car comes out clean every time. On nice days there can be a line, but they move cars through very efficiently and so the wait is never as long as it seems like it would be. I've never had damage to paint, glass or interior. I've never had anything taken from the car. I've had my car detailed several times and they always do a very thorough job. They have a loyal customer base so they must be doing something right. The last few times I have been to Auto Spa I have been disappointed with the job they did. The problem seems to be with the guys who initially vacuum; they do a lousy job. At my last visit they left lots of cookie crumbs in the cup holder and the dashboard was still quite dusty after they supposedly "wiped it down." The outside of the car was clean and the manager offered to "re-vacuum" but this sort of lack of attention has started happening too often. I have been hearing about a full service car wash in Sinking Spring which gets great reviews. I will try them next. read more

Inconsistent Service Took my car here for an interior and exterior cleanup. When I pulled up, I told the guy I would like a car wash, interior vacuum, and please dust off the interior. He asked about armor all and I said "sure". I went to check out and my bill was about $40. I waited awhile for my car to be done BUT here's the punchline...what I got for my $40 was an immaculate car, no visible dirt. Shiny inside and out. Oh and they also sprayed some kind of amazing complimentary cherry air freshener inside. Wow! Amazing value!! The reason for only 4 stars is that after seeing my car, my husband wanted to take his there the next day for the same service but we were told the "armor-all guy" wasn't there that day. His bill ended up being $30 and the inside of his car looked nowhere near as amazing as mine did. The dash was dusty. It was ok but just meh especially considering what I got for only $10 more. I will go back but do I need to call to see if the "armor-all guy" is there first?? I'm not too confident that I'll have the same experience again. Maybe I just got lucky?? A consistent and reliable delivery of service would be appreciated especially if I were to become a regular customer. read more

First I receive a "tude" from one of the vacuum guys. When my windows are up, chances are I can't hear you so yelling for me to adjust my car is worthless. Next there was a high end car 2 cars in front of me. My car goes through, hits the end of the track and sits there for quite some time while all the workers are over cleaning the expensive car. The car behind me got pretty close to hitting my rear before one of the owners quick jumped in to move mine. I see how I rate. This is the perfect place to go if you want absolutely nothing productive done towards cleaning your car! On my recommendation, my mother recently took her vehicle through the wash. She paid $42 +/- for an upgraded wash/vacuum package. The neglected to even vacuum the rear seats of her vehicle. I called to discuss with them and told them I was not happy with the work, and the company made no attempt, not even an apology, to make it right. The manager simply said, "OK, thank you" when I told him I felt the job was a disgrace. There are plenty of other companies who will appreciate your business more that I'll be patronizing, I suggest you do the same! read more

I'm done coming here. The lady at the front desk is so rude. I've sat waiting for my car and heard her criticize another customer about how she was dressed. Now today my 3 year old was playing with the dumb stuffed animals they sell in the waiting room, which he has done every time we've been here, but apparently that is no longer allowed and instead of just asking me nicely to have him stop, she was nasty and spoke to me like I was a child, saying "they're for sale, and not toys". read more

I was very disappointed today. This was my third and LAST visit. I am really offended by the up-charges. For example Have you very been to a car wash where you ask for the wheels to be cleaned but tire shine is another $5? Windows are a pet peave of mine at car washes. Today was no exception. Today was my first time there, I received a voucher from one of my customers, which I'm glad I didn't have to pay. There was lint all over inside and still some dirt on back fenders. Vacuum was half fast also. Then when I left there my screen and console went black and no tempt controls or radio worked. Brand new car, just bought in June. So I called and they got someone on the phone and said it wouldn't have been anything they did. I asked who I was speaking to, it was the owner Brad. He said he washed over 75,000 cars and never heard of this happening from getting your car washed. I'm not sure either, I was just concerned, because everything was fine before I went there. He didn't ask my name or ask for number. He pyrethrum much said oh well! I see why there's so many bad reviews. There's plenty other car washes around. I won't be recommending anyone to come there. Fantastic! Only car wash that I've ever been to where each employee says, "Thank you have a good day". I work in PA during the week and but live in NJ and I wait to get my car washed until the weekdays so I know I can make it to auto spa rather than a car wash where no one smiles or speaks english in NJ. Overpriced and they do not clean the car well. I had to show them the multiple areas that were not clean. They lightly wiped a towel over them and still did not get the area clean. Then the owner walked over and asked if there was a problem. I showed him the dirt still on the car and his response was "what do you want me to do, we ran your car through the wash." and just walked away. The interior was barely touched and only half of the windshield was cleaned. With so many other options, I will not go back. Customer service is not their strong point and obviously cleaning the cars is not either. read more

I visited their website regarding their detailing services and was ready to put down the $240 to get my interior and exterior detailed. And no where on their website did it say that you have to make an appointment, it can be only done during the weekdays and you have to give your car over for the whole day. So I drove over there on a weekend ready to spend $240, I hand my car over, I go inside to pay for it and the guy says the bill is $40. And it turned it out that I was signed up for the full service wash package instead and since my car haven't gone into the wash yet. I told him that I will come back another day and make a appointment and the guy became rude all of a sudden. And became annoyed of me because I didn't want to get that service so I just walked out since my car hadn't gone through yet and drove off. I never called back again to get a appointment because I am too busy on the weekdays and need my car. read more

Watch your valuables! My husband took my car to Auto Spa for a car wash and interior clean. During the process, $13, in bills, was removed from inside the console of my front dash. The worse car wash I have been to!! They are not very good with detail and they are the WORSE with customer service. They treat their customers, when they have a complaint, like they are stupid. The owner or whatever the hell he is, Irv, is worse than his employees. How lazy/rude can you be? This whole place needs to learn how to run a business and when you drive customers away and customers that actually have a high status in the city who can give a bad review can actually make them lose business.
