Not good at all. Called to set an appointment to bring my car in for repair. Told me to come in…read morefirst thing Monday morning. 1st come 1st serve. Arrived there before 8am on Monday. They told me they could not fix my car. They did not care that an employee told me to bring my car in. Just said they were short handed and could not look at it. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Not a good place to get your car repair .. I took my car there in April because my check engine…read morelight was on and the technician told me that it was because I need a sensor and .. my alcohol level in the gasoline !!! in about July my check engine light came back on... so I take it back to see what the problem was The technician told me that it was the same problem with the alcohol content level to high so I immediately told him that's what I have brought it there for before so he said I should take it back to the dealer because .. so he did not try to reset it or anything...(I think he realize he could not charge me again for the same thing) my light to tell you when your tire is flat was also on ....but I recently purchased some sensors for the tire so he told me that he would put the sensors in and just charge me for that!!! And he called me back and said that the sensors that I had were no good and... I could have him buy some sensors and replace it for me .. I asked him how much would it be For this he said I need two sensors and they are $74 apiece... and $30 to put them in But when I asked him for a total price he told me about $374 he changed the price and said they are $154 apiece I told him that was too high so I came and pick the car up and pay for one sensor they input into a tire which was $33.95 TI took my car somewhere else and the guy actually test the sensor (the same sensors I had from the beginning)before he put it in the car and there was nothing wrong with it...!!!!!!

You know that cousin, good buddy or "friend of a friend" you may have that is always good with cars…read moreand able to help you out if your ride has been acting up? Well, Al's Auto Repair replicates the experience of dropping your car off at that cousin's or buddies house to get checked out when you think there might be something wrong with it, only with the reassurance of licensed, knowledgeable, prompt and super-friendly service 100% of the time. The staff consists of a total of three: two mechanics and the proprietor, Al, himself. He will always try to work with you regarding payment and usually takes into consideration the car and type of work that needs to be done before charging. For example, if you can purchase certain parts, he won't charge an arm and a leg for labor; you buy the oil and filter for your car he may only charge you 10 bucks for the dirty work. My last experience there was less than a month ago when the battery in my '06 Jetta died and I had to get a new one. He hooked me up with a brand new one from the Carquest right across the street and after the purchase of the battery and labor the deal was of such magnanimity I can swear that Al is the definition of the good-natured, compassionate, neighborhood mechanic. Al doesn't talk down to his customers and genuinely cares about the work he does. You get a real "my word is my bond feel" here which goes a long way considering how other mechanics run their shops. I first learned of Al's through my parents a few years ago. They've had a bit of work done on their respective cars as had I and am happy to refer work to him whenever the opportunity arises.

I have been going to Al's for at least 5 years. I don't know where these bogus bad reviews are…read morecoming from but I'm compelled to share my truth. I had been taking my car to the dealer or Firestone because I want reputable service. When I had an emergency and couldn't be seen right away, I researched and found Al. They are trustworthy, the prices are fair, and certainly less than what I had been paying at the dealer and Firestone. But most of all, they have great quality service and are honest. Al and his son are very personable and professional and I trust them with my car. I highly recommend them and have referred my aunt to them as well. I am a satisfied and loyal customer!
