Amazing find! Luis is a great guy. I shopped around for a new headliner for my GL550 Mercedes and most shops said they would do there best to match the color, but it won't be perfect. Luis worked to find a supplier that matched 100%. I cannot believe it, but when i say it's 100%, I mean it it's perfect, factory pattern and color match. My car was from Florida and it killed the headliner glue over time. In addition, this was a complicated install and the price he did it for was beyond reasonable! This vehicle has 2 sunroofs, rear ceiling air condition, vents, etc all over making the headliner tricky to remove and replace. I'm a very picky guy, and do not review people often, but have to give this shoutout to Luis and his Crew! read more

This is an example of why small business works in America. It's because people care about the products that they produce. I found Luis's shop on Google, I checked out his reviews on yelp, And then I stopped by with my 2002 BMW Z3 - and it was time to get a new top. After discussing the issue with Luis, I shopped around for price and product and to confirm that the top that have to be replaced. Based on my conversations with other outfits - I was in very good hands with this team up in Lake Bluff. They did a hell of a job! Completed on time, on budget, and the new top looks beautiful. I would highly recommend this group for your auto upholstery needs. If I were to look for one complaint, the car could've been a tad cleaner when I picked it up - but the reality is they kept the shop open until 630 on a Friday night to finish up my job. Luis did an amazing job. Took him bare, repainted seats for a 60 vw bug and boxes of covering and seat padding. He quoted a price and time and assured me that the work would be high quality. Absolutely. Done on time and the work was fantastic. Sure, this is something I could have done myself, but why not have a pro do it. Luis was referred to me by by Volvo mechanic. The leather seat in my Outback developed a hole and the stuffing was coming out. Obviously I needed to do something about it because it would get worse if left alone. I did some research ... the first few estimates came in about $400 ... which seemed very unreasonable considering the scope of work. So I did more and that is how I met Luis at Auto Interiors Designs. After talking to Luis on the phone and then bringing the car in for a look-see he provided me with a "reasonable" estimate. More so he demonstrated his competence ... which lead me to believe he was the best man for the job. My hunch was right ... Luis did a great job with my car seat and he was very easy to deal with! Thus said I highly recommend him to anyone with a similar issue. More so I would recommend Luis to anyone looking for sophisticated auto interior improvements and repair. Luis did a fantastic job on my old 2002 Chrysler convertible. It was a special cream interior that was only a two-year option. So, pretty rare. It took me years to find a replacement seat, however it was a passenger seat and I needed it on the driver side. I also needed Luis to install a new seat heater in the driver side. He swapped everything over so that this seat would work for me as a driver seat and he put a good quality seat heater replacement in with a high medium low switch. He was fast, and his work was really clean, and I really can't recommend him highly enough. I'm not sure if he does convertible tops and carpet, but if he does, I am going to have him do it. read more

I own a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that came with standard gray cloth interior from the dealor. I met with the experts/artists at Auto Interior & Design to decide on the color and style leather seats for my jeep. We also decided on cooling nd heated seats. All was ordered and arrived within a week. I scheduled appointment and they completed in 2 days and this transformed my interior to ho hum to a WOW look. From my perspective my seats look better than the factory leather seats and provide options I could not get at dealor. I also had bad scratched on my sub woofer in the back and they covered it with material similar to my carpet giving it a look like it has always been there. Stop do not look any further as you will not find better quality or value as I highly recommend the service the staff at Auto Interior & Design provides.
