Wheels and tires are an expensive investment and based on online reviews and friends experiences, I knew that I would be well taken care of. I was greeted at the door by Orlando who was knowledgable and polite, he also took care of the mounting. I also met Steven, who took care of the balancing. He was also a Tacoma owner, we chatted for a while which helped the time go by faster and improved the over all experience. TLDR: a great service and root caused a corner case leak. Great work with mounting PS4s on my rims. The tire pressure was initially low and continued to leak through the day requiring refill the tire. A couple days afterwards, I got the tire/rim checked out at the shop. They root cause and identify a very small but persistent leak between the bead and inner rim. They unmounted the tire, cleaned the surface, and remounted the tire. No issuesafter 4 weeks. I appreciate their quality of work and the time to explain the situation. The issue is now solved. read more

I recently purchased an Acura Integra and found out the struts were pretty much done. The vehicle had over 200k miles on it. I wanted to save some money so I decided to tackle the suspension work myself. Not hard, I've replaced shocks/springs before but this time, my springs were good but shocks were bad. I called them up to have them put my oem springs on some new oem shocks I bought. Those spring compressor from autozone won't cut it to compress these springs. Anyways, I called last minute to see if they could do it since every other place made up a story saying their compressor is broken or no one can do it. Well the guys at Auto Innovation took on the task and did a great job. I dropped off the struts/springs, about an hour later it was done. The price was very fair as well. read more

This is not the first time i bring business to AI. 4 years ago, i bought new set of wheels and PS4S tires. AI installed them for me. They working flawlessly since then. 2 years ago, i git punctured front tires and AI helped me out to find new tires, do the installation only in couple of days. Fast forward, I am getting sick of my OEM suspension system. The car is floating in high speed which makes me feel not safe to drive it anymore. So i decided do my homework to find quality coilovers and suspension part to transform my car. Finally i landed with Ohlins coilover and steeda stop the hop kit. Then it comes with the question who should i trust with installation? I knew AI since them worked on my tires before. So i looked at their wepage and stunning yelp reviews and found they are also suspension expert. I also asked around my JDM friends and searched on different forums to find our AI is also a reputable shop for any suspension work. What is more amazing is that i can't find any repurtable shop to beat their price! They are also very flexible. U know, it is still pandemic. So my parts are arriving at different time and even FedEx gets delayed for couple of days. But working with AI is breeze. We talked through couple of options for scheduling and it worked out nicely. Finally, i want to mention quality of work. Orlando carried out the installation for coliover and other bushings/ irs brace efc. The car has no extra noises after installation, everything works together. TBH, i was bit worried before. Because people said Those parts may introduce extra NVM which the manufacture claim there will not be. Now i know that Those unlucky guys may not have Orlando to do the installation. The alignment is at the same spec i requested as well. All in all, i am a happy customer. I'm so glad that I was referred to Auto Innovations by my mechanic to get my wheel alignment. After checking pricing with a few tire shops and South Bay Honda dealer, I found that the average cost was about $110 with Honda being the highest at $130 for my 2011 Civic. They charged $60 for my civic - what a deal. I believe that they work on all cars and it seems like they do a lot of work on sports cars or after market. It took about 30 minutes for the alignment and everything is great. Now my car doesn't feel so squiggly. I was recommended by several friends who do various motorsports (track, autocross) to go to Auto Innovations for an alignment. I contacted Orlando through Yelp and he was very responsive. He immediately provided an appointment opening and I scheduled it. I want to echo what others on here have said - Orlando is extremely friendly and helpful. He was familiar with Flyin Miata base specs and could speak to the slight modifications I wanted and needed for my Miata setup. I appreciated their prompt service. The tech (Mike) also accurately wrote down my car info (odometer, plate, etc). I only point this out because there are other shops out there that don't bother to pay attention so this simple detail was nice. They did the alignment to spec, and also pointed out other potential issues they saw on the car which was welcomed. Orlando also invited me to look at the car on the lift which I really appreciated as someone who works on their own car. Speaking from the perspective as a woman, it was nice to be invited to that space, even though they don't know me or my background, because sometimes shops make a poor assumption you would not be interested to know the details of your car (or defer to the male who is with you). In terms of COVID, I was very impressed they had plastic coverings for the seat, steering wheel, and shifter. I personally value when people pay attention to how someone's car or items are treated, and this shows they care. Orlando also disinfected used pens, which again, small but nice touch. After my experience I now understand why this place comes highly recommended and with a 5 star rating on Yelp. I've been going to Auto Innovations for at least ten years, so this review is long overdue. This is the best place to go for wheels and tires. Orlando has been taking care of my Civic for all this time, and he is knowledgeable, kind, and honest. A couple examples: somehow a bolt went missing on one of my Enkei wheels and he found a matching one for me. When I have a leaking tire, he will always try to patch it first, and if that's not possible, he explains why. Steve did an alignment on my car years ago. You get a nice printout, and he explained why local roads might cause the car to pull just a little even if the alignment is good. I won't go anywhere else. This place is the only place that's done my alignments for my overland rig. They can do things that a typical firestone/big-o-tires cannot. Whenever I get bigger tires or make upgrades to my suspensions, I come here right after. My latest experience, I asked Orlando to adjust my caster and align my vehicle. He did just that and I even got his help to take off my stock bump stops that I struggle with my wrenches at home. I went home that day and drove my vehicle for at least 200 miles. I noticed that the steering wasn't quite straight so I scheduled an appointment and he instantly got my steering adjusted in just 15 minutes. This place is the best! Orlando and his team are great. I was a somewhat frequent past customer for custom alignments and this was my first time going to them for new tires. I felt compelled to write this review just because of the care and attention to detail these guys have. I rotated my wheels myself a while back and being somewhat ocd, I actually aligned my center caps in line with the position of my valve stems and wheel locks. To my surprise, all center caps and wheel locks were aligned just like I had them. If you're slightly confused about what I'm on about, I've included a picture of what I mean. Usually technicians who are in a hurry just slap the center cap of the wheels back on, not paying attention to the orientation. Let alone which holes to put the wheel locks back in. It's not something I expect or care to request, but they noticed. No new scratches on my wheels either during servicing. I scheduled with Orlando to have an alignment done for a Tesla Model S P85+. The alignment went smoothly, and took about an hour for the alignment, test drive, and readjustment. During the alignment, Orlando found that my front control arm bushings were starting to fail. Also, he notified me of the wear on the front tires, and that I'd need to replace the fronts soon. TLDR(TOO LONG DIDN'T READ AT BOTTOM) Orlando (and team) knows what he's(they're) doing. There's a reason they been around since the 90's. Took my 93' Prelude track car there few years ago and the alignment results were as requested, no noticeable understeer even taking tight corners at 85-90MPH at the track..(ahemm mountain pass too, benefits of living in a valley). Took my 08' 350z today and i'm new to the Z33/RWD chassis, did some research and got the parts I needed to get the wheels to the specs I want after newer suspension and accompanying parts for handling/wider turning installed. When I got there Orlando took a quick look under the car told me I had to widen the rear toe holes to get more positive toe. I was like dam... I hella forgot about that, I even bought a Dremel attachment to make it wider. He was dead on about that by just looking and seen I did the eccentric bolt delete for the Camber but not toe. Got the car racked and updated me on the current specs. I came in with and asked what specs I wanted now since the car couldn't reach rear toe and camber I wanted without the toe bolt hole mod. They still got the car handling tons better than it came in. TLDR= Orlando and team know how to work on cars with modified suspension parts, they have the YEARS of experience and hands on knowledge. I've used Auto Innovations many times over the years for alignments and rebalancing tires. There were times when they checked the existing balance and told me there was no need to redo all of them, saving me money. I appreciate their honesty. Most recently I brought my car in to rebalance a set of wheels/tires I purchased used since there was a noticeable vibration. Orlando performed a road force balance and asked if I had a preference as to which wheel to place on which corner otherwise he was going to match them up to give the best result. Problem solved! I didn't know what superior customer service is till I went to AI for my tires. The staff is knowledgeable and very prompt with their service. They make sure that you get in and out of there in a timely fashion. Make sure to look for the guy who usually sits up front, his name is Steve, who is also the owner of the place. They have a seating area where you can sit and wait for your car and also have Wifi so that you don't have to use up your data plan. Make sure to get an appointment before you go, coz they can get busy as well and that will also give you a more realistic timeframe. Definitely will be back in the future. read more

It was an easy process to order the tires from them, I called in and they were able to get the tires that I wanted and they booked me an appointment. I had brought the wrong lug nuts for my car and luckily they were able to provide me a new set that would fit my car. Finally found the time to schedule and bring my vehicle in to Orlando's shop. My car was previously lowered a week ago on aftermarket coilovers. Steve the guy at the front desk was courteous and instructed me to sign the small form prior to getting the work done on the vehicle. Orlando did a great job aligning my car and getting it back to road condition. I had a slight toe-out on left front which was felt when taking off from a standstill. The job was completed in about 45 min. All I did was kickback on the nice comfy chairs and browse on phone to let some time pass. They also have free WiFi to entertain you while you wait. Steve was able to go over the before and after specs and since my car was lowered, he advised me to look into installing camber arms to bring the wheels into even more within spec and to regularly rotate my tires to promote even wear. These guys really know a lot about not only what your car needs but they also educate you on what you need to know about your vehicle.
