Bought a 2011 Mazda Tribute in mid-December 2017 along with a five-year warranty. Less than two months later on January 17 2018 my vehicle started to have problems starting. After changing the rotted windshield wipers (OK) I took it in to Auto House on January 23rd to have it checked. It turns out I bought an old battery and loose battery cable as added bonuses. The service cost me $360 and I still don't know if that was the issue - haven't tried to start it since returning home. When I approached the salesman Kyle who sold me the Tribute and the Service Manager Simon to ask why the vehicle wasn't checked prior to putting it on the lot for sale, I was told that the defective battery and loose battery cable are considered daily wear and tear. SAY WHAT?!?! I HAVEN'T EVEN PUT 1000 KM ON IT YET!!!! Should I get an oil change too?!!! I will never deal with Auto House again and if you do, ask them if the vehicle has been checked over thoroughly beforehand. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more
