It had…read more15,000 miles on it when we bought it, the price changed significantly when we went to pick it up and we were sold some warranty that was an extra $3,000. Short version is the check engine light came on a few weeks later, they wanted to charge $300 to diagnose it and ended up saying it needed a part that was on national back order. Asked about the warranty since we were never given paperwork for that. They say there's no warranty besides the factory warranty so we're responsible unless it's engine or transmission related. Check engine light does not classify as engine apparently. 10 months went by, I finally went in to get a refund for the part and was going to buy it online. Magically it was in stock. They wanted more to install it, so I did it myself. Light came back on and they assured me they did a thorough test. Looked up the code online and multiple people said to check a sensor easily accessed in the back. Wasn't even plugged in. Plugged it in, fixed. You'd think that would have been seen in the thorough inspection and diagnosis. During that time I noticed the hood bubbling. Was told "they all do that". Body shop would not return phone calls and said it's not worth fixing when I finally did talk to someone. Frustrated I called corporate and they told me they don't do much because even though it's covered 7 year 70k warranty for anti rust/corrosion, the dealerships are independently owned and they don't have to fix it by choice. So zero help there. Tried parkway, another dealer off Telegraph, all had the same story. Was about to give up and decided to call Dick Heuvarre. SOO glad we did!! There was a wait but Corey the body shop manager was on top of it. Had us come in to take pictures, set up an appointment a month or so out. Dropped off, gave us a rental in the meantime and end of the week it was like new. The entire experience is what I would expect from any dealership but they not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. We dropped the vehicle off pretty filthy with 2 kids and just returning from a road trip the day before we were on a time crunch to get it there. Everybody and I mean everybody was friendly, punctual, professional, and the grand slam was they even washed the entire vehicle and even cleaned out and vacuumed the whole inside. Like a complete detail. Talk about going the extra mile. There were no surprises except when we picked it up and it was completely clean in and out. Truly exceptional service. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership and they definitely have us as customers for life. Thank you so so much everyone! I am ashamed of Jim Riehl, Parkway, and the other dealerships we dealt with and so happy we found this one. Sincerely, Jacquelyn & Jonathan Blake

I have been a longtime customer, 9 years and 3 Ram trucks to be exact. I brought my 2021 Ram Limited for service and was met with subpar service from your staff. The issue at hand, my truck would not start and I would have to have it jumped in order for it to run. This issue continued over a period of time. I scheduled an appointment with Dick Huvaere's to have my truck serviced. My truck was in service for 5 days, only to be told that there were no mechanical issues with it, that my battery needed to be replaced. Therefore, I purchased a battery for my truck, which I should not have had to pay for. I was told by the dealership that any other additional issues, repairs etc.. they would cover the expense's incurred. Which they did NOT stay true to their word. Not even 2 weeks later, my truck would not start again, resulting in having it jumped once again. I have brought my truck to your dealership several times 3 to be exact, to have this issue addressed, but I have not received satisfactory results. The technicians were unable to identify the problem, and the issue persisted despite their efforts. This has not only been inconvenient for me, but it has also caused me to lose confidence in the reliability of my truck. I rely on my truck to get to and from work. I have been inconvenienced by the repeated trips to your dealership, which has lead to a great deal of stress and frustration. When I spoke to your staff, they were unapologetic and seemed disinterested in helping me. Despite all my attempts to have this issue resolved, I was basically forced to break my lease early, causing me more stress. I now drive a Ford. As a loyal customer, I expected a higher standard of service from your company. The current situation has not only tarnished my perception but also eroded my confidence in your ability to meet customer expectations.
