To be honest. I absolutely agree with all of these one star reviews. Mike P. for example: "They tried to overcharge me $150 on an out of state van.
They quoted me $400 for rear brake pads & rotors.
I went down the road to Express Care who charged me $250 for the exact same job."
WOW!!!! Auto-Go, how dare ye?
Then, Steven S.
"Horrible. Over charge and nonsense. I looked up parts online. 2 ball joints they want to charge $160. I found 2 new ones online for $22 for both. They charge a extra $80 for any diagnostics and don't take it off the bill. My clutch was out. I knew that but wanted to charge me to tell me. Charge me $80 to put on a flywheel. It's a 15 minute take off 5 bolt job. Save your money and go else where. No trust."
I know for myself personally, they charged me over 100 dollars for some NGK spark plugs (I think they were) which I could have bought for 55 dollars on-line. (How dare Auto-Go.net charge such exuberant prices.
I agree with Steven S. and Mike P. How dare Auto-Go over charge me for parts and shit like that!!!!
Now, I have a dilemma after reading these 2 horrible reviews .... so, let me read on to some more favourable reviews, (I hope there are some).
MMM, Staci B. 5 star "Auto to go is a place that treats u as family. " ... Well, yes that is for sure ...
Then there is Paul B. another 5 star " I had a little problem that they were able to diagnose in a heartbeat. So reassuring in the middle of a big road trip! Right next to Sonic so it's easy to find as well." Well, I think by the sound of this one, maybe he should have given Sonic's a 5 star.
So now it is my turn to give a review. I am facing 2 negatives and two positives. I am feeling like a judge on America's Got Talent. You advance or you go back home.
I think, I would rather go back home. Yes. Go home not to where the "winners" are, but home, to those that I can trust. To those that I believe in. The only home that I know where people like Andy and Jarrod and Jimmy and .... oh shit ...., what's her name is. Branson West is my home people .... (SUE!!!, YA THAT'S HER NAME!!!!).
To all there Steven S.'s and Mike P's out there. Good luck my friend. I truly wish you all a good life, fair winds and following seas. Yes, go buy your parts cheaper, yes they have warranty's as well. Have your good ole buddy down the road on hos hog farm put them on for you. Hell, he may even give you a pork chop or two to munch on whilst he's down there under the shade tree replacing your clutch made in Chiner. When your shit fails when your kid is sick or your wife is sick and you are trying to take them to the hospital .... who is going to come to your rescue? Your pig farmer shade tree mechanic buddy?
Did you forget to mention that with Auto-Go.net that you also receive a 36 month? 36,000 mile warranty? ... Oh ... wait, yes you did forget.
Hey Steven S. and Mike P. The photo of my Buick is my original 1999 Century. I let it go a couple of years ago. I was just looking for something newer. Auto-Go allowed me to put over 258,000 miles on her. How many miles will your hog farmer buddy let you put on your vehicle with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty?
All of this bull-shit about how they told me it was going to cost me one thing then they told me it was going to cost me more, and all this shit about, "OH MY GOD ... They charged me X amount of dollars just for a diagnosis"!!!! Well, damn dude. Go get your own lazy ass ASE certified and see how much that shit costs. I bet your hog farmer is ASE certified also.
When I read these reviews about how people say "well, they told me this but it ended up costing me more" I know they are full of shit. Sometimes it happens. It happened to me when Auto-Go was doing a complete brake job on my 1999 Buick. But do you know what they did? They took me into their shop and showed me exactly what was wrong with my brakes while it was still on the car. It's not like they took everything apart then showed me some random parts that could have come from somewhere else. It was on my car. I saw it myself!!!! So YES, maybe what you are saying is true, but tell the whole truth.
People who tell partial truths are the same as liers to me. read more
