Today we contacted State Farm directly and were told that, on their end, the vehicle is still showing as repairable because they have not received anything from the body shop regarding the estimate or damage assessment. We completely understand that body shops get busy and that estimates and insurance claims take time. What is frustrating is repeatedly being promised a callback and receiving no information. At this point, we simply want to know whether the vehicle has been inspected, what the current estimate is, and when the necessary information will be submitted to State Farm so the claim can move forward. Good communication goes a long way, especially when customers are already dealing with the stress of an accident. Unfortunately, our experience so far has been unnecessarily frustrating

Took it back a week later because the issue continued to get worse - I asked about tie rods and ball joints and was told it was most likely my tires. I subsequently took the truck to All American Automotive on south street. They quickly diagnosed that Scott's changed the track bar but not the associated bushings as well as bad tie rods. Issue resolved. I called Scott's to let them know they failed to change the bushings as well and I had to pay labor a second time for someone else to complete the job...they couldn't have cared less.

He read my messages but did not provide his license number. I looked up the company name and they're not listed. California requires that anyone working on your vehicle, including something as simple as repairing windows, be required to register as an Automotive Repair Dealer (ARD) with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR).
