Came in with a chip on my windshield after talking to the owner and getting a price. Apparently the "free mobile service" isn't free but oh well it was nearby. When I got there, first the office lady said the chip wasn't repairable so asked for the owner to come check. He said it was definitely repairable and will look great. It was done fairly quickly but in the end it looked almost the same. I complained but he said he thought it looked great. If you are starting your search to get your glass repaired you don't need to look any further. Their name tells you half the story - they repair glass fast. I got a rear passenger window replaced on my Jeep in about an hour. The other half of the story is that they are cheap. I paid less than I expected here. This guy Murdock ,installed a windshield on my car. When the rain came my car got completely flooded . I brought the car to him and he indeed confirmed that the leak came from the windshield. And then tried to fix it . He tried to get all the water out but the car is still soaked and smells like mold. My wife's car was broken into this afternoon, and we were needing to replace the back window quickly. The Auto Fast Repair peeps booked us an appointment in half an hour and replaced the broken widow within 15 minutes. Moreover, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They even vacuumed the broken glass from the back seat. The owner of the shop personally removed the stickers from the new window. I chose them because they quoted me the lowest price for windshield replacement - $250 cash. Once I arrived, he honored that price for the glass but then told me he needed to charge me $29 for a seal which looked completely fine. He pointed out other seals which were damaged (which he didn't replace??), so not sure why the one that appeared fine needed to be switched. And $29 for a piece of rubber??? It felt like a bait and switch - give me a $10 lower price than the cheapest place I found, but then add in $29 when I arrive. Work seems to have been done well and service was quick. I should have left since I'm still irked by the additional upcharge. Update: I felt I had to write a bit more considering the response I got from the business. I am not complaining that they didn't replace the rubber that had issues. I also did agree to just pay the extra $29 for the rubber that covered the top of the windshield that was there. My beef is that I wasn't informed BEFORE I drove there that there would need to be a charge of $29 to replace a part that looked fine. The price I was told was $250. Not $250, but there might be other charges. And no, you were only $10 cheaper than the second cheapest place. Maybe they, too, would upsell me. I am also not saying anything negative about how friendly you are (very), how quick you worked (fast) or how the job seems to be done well. Only about the change in price after I arrived. read more
